"No, no, no." Sage whispered, immediately tugging rapidly at the ropes, "HELP!"

He rolled his eyes, "There's no use in doing that. It's sound proof. Dad made it that way when I played the drums."

Sage glared at him and stopped. "So what is this?" She asked, "Are you going to kill me?"

Rafe smiled, chuckling, "Kill you?" He asked, "No no no I'm not going to kill."

Sage stared at him, fear in her eyes. "Let me go. Now." She told him, trying to keep a brave face.

"I can't do that Sage." Rafe said, "Not at least we know for certain John B will stay in prison permanently. Even then I still don't know." His eyes found hers, her fake bravery faltering seeing the look in his eyes.

"You're a liability."

Sage sneered, "SOMEONE HELP ME!" She yelled, not caring that the room was sound proof.

"Sage stop-,"

"HELP ME! FUCK COME ON!"

"It's soun-,"

"HELLO! ANYONE!"

Rafe shot up, grabbing her face by covering her mouth, "Shut you fucking mouth." He hissed in annoyance, Sage watching in with tears of fear.

He let go of her mouth, and as soon as her mouth was free she spit directly into his face.

Rafe wiped it off, looking at her with anger. She waited for him to do something. She watched as his eyes twitched, almost like he was debating something in his head.

He suddenly sat back down in his chair, staring at her.

She stayed quiet, not knowing what to do. She scanned the room trying to figure out how to get out.

"You remember when we were friends?"

Sage stilled, her eyes meeting his, "Are you serious asking me that right now?" She asked in anger.

"We used to be best friends." Rafe smiled making Sage unnerved. "Before you cared about the Kook and Pogues shit. Before you chose those low life's."

"Shut up." Sage muttered.

Rafe looked around the room, "Remember the times you would come to me crying because of your brother?"

Sage looked down as she tried to hold back tears. "Stop it." She told him.

"I remember when you felt like you didn't belong with your family." Rafe said, "when you felt like John B and his dad would be better off without you."

"Stop Rafe."

"Do you remember who gave you comfort. Told you not to worry about it, told you it would be ok?" Rafe asked. "Do you?"
