JJ paced on the Chateau porch. His tried to calm down his breaths being too fast to be normal.

His eyes were red and were heaving with exhaustion. He hadn't slept all night. He couldn't. He had been there since 10, it was 4 in the morning now.

He sniffled, holding his chest as he felt an uncomfortable feeling. He sat down, knowing he was having a another anxiety attack.

He puffed out heavy breaths, resting his head in his arms. All he wanted was for her to come back.

He heard the crunch of leaves making him look up. He squinted seeing someone walking towards the house in the distant.

"Sage?" He whispered, recognizing the figure from anywhere, "SAGE!"

He ran out as Sage fully came into view. He ran, slowly down as he saw them.

Bruises.

Her eye was black and blued, a band aid on her eyebrow bone that had dried blood on it. He looked down at her jaw and neck, that had finger marks on both of them.

She looked like she had been crying. A lot. Now it just seemed like she was in a daze, no expression held on her face.

"What happened?" JJ asked in anger.

Sage didn't answered as she walked to the house, and into the porch. "Sage! What happened."

He went to reach for her, her flinching in the process. His heart dropped into his stomach, immediately feeling sick. He retracted his hand quickly.

"Sage?" He whispered in shock.

She stopped, slowly turning her head to JJ. Her eyes connected, but her expression didn't change. The only thing that changed was single tear roll down her unfazed face.

She then walked into the house, going into her room and locking it.

JJ stared at the place she just stood in heartbreak.

What the hell happened to her?

He looked at his phone, texting quickly to everyone that she was safe and home. He then put his phone in his pocket and walked inside.

He walked to her door, leaning his head on it. "Sage," JJ said quietly, "I know you might not want to talk about it right now. Or ever." He said, having an idea of how she felt from personal experiences.

JJ put his back to the door. He slid down to the floor, leaning the back of his head against the wood.

"But I'm here for you. No matter what. I'll always be here."

Sage let tears fall freely down her face, putting her head between her knees as she sat on the floor against the same door.
