"I've had more black eyes in the last month than I've ever had." Pope making Kie giggle.
Sage sat next to John B, JJ sitting all the way on the other side of the Pogues. They roasted marshmallows in the backyard.
"That was building up for years. Rumble in the jungle." JJ said going to reach for a melted marshmallow. He hissed in pain as it burnt his fingers.
"Hey did you really stick up for Sarah?" John B asked Kie.
"Of course I did." She answered, "She's not a real kook."
"Yeah tell that to Topper." Pope said.
"Hey," JJ called out, Sage noticing he was looking at her, "You and Danny looked real comfortable tonight."
Sage rolled her eyes, "JJ I wouldn't-,"
"Seemed very overprotective of you." JJ cut her off. He tried to act his jealousy out as causal conversation, but all of the Pogues saw the jealousy, "You two will make a great couple-,"
"Daniel's gay."
If Sage wasn't so annoyed and tired, she would of laughed at how quickly JJ's mouth shut.
"Yeah," Sage smiled in annoyance, "Been with his boyfriend for a year."
The Pogues watched awkwardly, besides John B who tried not to laugh at scene playing out in front of him.
"I jusy want one bite-," John B exclaimed, grabbing Sage's s'more and shoving it into his mouth.
"Wait what are you doing!" Sage exclaimed, trying to pull it back, "Stop it!" She yelled as he ate her s'more.
He let go, it flinging to the ground, "Asshole you made me lose my s'more!" Sage pushed her brother so he fell off his chair.
"I'm not sharing mine." JJ told them.
"You know guys I spent my money on that." Kie called out.
"I thought sharing was caring Sage." Her brother said.
"That crap doesn't qualify with food!" She fired back.
"Sixteen years in the most federal prisons." John B stated.
"I'm taking your marshmallow." Sage grabbed John B's marshmallow.
"Hey hey!" John B yelled out in a hushed tone.
They all looked at him, him shushing them. They stayed quiet, hearing rustling in the distance.
"Somebody's here." Pope whispered.
Kie looked at Sage, "You don't think that Topper would?"
"No." Sage immediately answered, standing up next to her brother.
