3rd POV

Sage grabbed the envelope that she found and looked at it. She then passed it to John B through the crack.

"That's not gold." Pope said disappointed as JJ and Kie helped Sage out of the tomb.

"Holy shit." John B said looking at the envelope. "This is from our dad."

"Code red. Code red. Square groupers! Square groupers!" JJ whispered to them. They all ran to the other side of the tomb.

"Lights." Sage warned everyone, she slapped JJs light off.

"John B your light!" Kie whispered yelled at him as he stumbled to turn off his light.

"Do you think it's them?" Kie asked, wondering if it was the two guys that were at John Bs and Sages house.

"Homies got a gun." JJ said.

"Okay screw this." Sage said grabbing JJs hand and running to the fence. The other three followed. One by one they jumped the fence, JJ helped Sage climb up giving her a boost.

"Guys! Guys!" Pope panicked making them look at him. "I'm stuck!" He said trying to get his pants unlatched from the fence.

JJ grabbed the gun, for emergency. Sage spotted him holding it and quickly walked to him, putting her hand on the gun and lowering it.

John B grabbed Pope and yanked him down, ripping Popes pants in the process, leaving him in his underwear. The other four laughed as quietly as possible as they ran to the car

They drove back to the twins house. JJ immediately went to make a sandwich.

"That bread had mold on it three days ago." Pope said watching the blonde smear peanut butter on the moldy bread.

"I'll just pull off the bad parts. Plus, mold is good for you. It's just a natural organism." JJ said as he finished making his sandwich.

"There is something really wrong with you." Sage said standing next to her brother. Cringing at the moldy bread that JJ was about to eat.

They all surrounded the table as John B stared at the envelope. Sage saw that it said for bird on it, which was something their dad would call John B.

John B opening the envelope. Sages anxiety rose. She was afraid of what they would find. It's a note from their dad. Someone she thought was most likely dead.

JJ took a bit of his sandwich and gagged tasting the mold. He spit it in his hand making Sage cringe again at the boy. He looked at her a smile lightly.

"Wanna a bite?" JJ asked jokingly, holding out the moldy sandwich to her.

"No." She answered. He smirked and threw out the sandwich as John B opened a piece of paper. It was a map.

"X marks the spot." Pope said pointing to the X on the map.

"Longitude, latitude." John B said looking at the map while Sage grabbed the envelope and looked inside.

"Wait there's something else here." She said taking out a tape recorder. She exhaled in disbelief looking at the recorder that might have a message from their father.

"What's that?" JJ asked.

"It's a tape recorder dumbass." Kie said. Sage handed it to John B who pressed play.

"Dear bird." The group heard, Sage quietly gasped, eyes slightly watering at the sound of her fathers voice.

"Who's bird?" JJ asked.

"It's what my dad used to call me." John B replied looking at the tape recorder in shock.

"I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so," the twins father said. "And you doubted your old man. I suspect at this moment you're filled with guilt and self-loathing over our last fight, but, don't kill yourself just yet, kid. I didn't expect to find the Merchant either."
