That kid.
Well, I don't really know him. He's just one of those Tourons who visits the Outer Banks with his family every summer, and I know he drinks beer, but I don't know much else about him. Must have a lot of cash if he has a summer house out here, though.
He's okay, I guess. Always smiling. Waves at us from his family's boat. A too happy to be true kinda guy.
Weirdly enough, him and Pope got on all good at one of our keggers. Everyone teased Pope for having a crush but he just swore at us. He's always had a thing for Kie, anyways. It isn't all that surprising. We all do. Well, not JJ. Him and Kie are kinda like siblings, so that'd be really weird...

He wasn't really anybody. At least, not in the Outer Banks. I never thought he'd be more than a Touron who drank our stale beer. But apparently the world worked in weird and wonderful ways, 'cause it turns out Benji was gonna be pretty damn valuable this summer — with his knowledge of island legends, his ability to read treasure maps, his (kinda worrying) lack of fear and his ability to turn everything into a positive. He didn't have to try.
