That movie with that little girl who crawls into a hole she barely fits in because she has nothing better to do than chase some rabbit into its home turf?
Yeah? Well, this was nothing like that.
For one, Sonny wasn't a little blonde girl in a puffy blue tea dress. She wasn't chasing a rabbit, either. Sonny was actually dangling from a rope in a crazy old lady's well with sewage in her hair, debating if she was actually about to crawl her way into a dark and dank passageway in hopes of finding John B's gold. Although, Sonny supposed her and Alice did have one thing in common.
They had no idea what was on the other side, but it was a risk they were both willing to take.
"Okay," she whispered to herself, eyeing up the crawlspace in front of her. Sonny wasn't the shortest kid around. Actually, while she was lean, her legs were longer than they needed to be. But, even with her stupidly long legs that made her one of the tallest girls on the island, Sonny would still be able to just about squeeze her way into the hole.
