Figure 8, Kook material. A lot of money in her pocket but a massive frown on her face. I don't think she ever smiles.
Honesty, I could never understand her. She was the girl that everyone knew without ever really knowing her. A total mystery to the Outer Banks, really. Especially to JJ — who had no idea she even existed six months ago. Before that, she was just a name to him. A novelty. Queen of Kook—landia but somehow not your typical Kook.
She only ever spent time with Topper, but even that was rare these days. She stuck to herself most of the time. Sure, she showed up to a few parties here and there, but that was mostly to smoke and observe.
Whether she was a total loner because she chose to be or because she had no real discernible personality, no one knew. But I honestly just think she prefers to be alone. Maybe she likes the solitude. Maybe friends weren't her style. Maybe she was always gonna be a wallflower.
For a certified bolter, she was good at showing up when you needed her most. Good at saving ass. Good at kicking it, too. She was everything we never expected.
I had no idea Sonny would end up being involved this summer. Neither did she.
