It wasn't anything exciting. Just one of Topper's little Star Wars action figures, a tiny little Luke Skywalker. She'd never cared for the movies, and there was no real reason to take it, but when she looked at it her brain just kinda went that's cool and it's mine now. So she took it.
She still had it, too.
It sat in a box under her bed, collecting dust, and most of the time she forgot it was even there.
But, still, Sonny couldn't bring herself to throw it away. It was like a little keepsake, a memory, and while she had never been particularly sentimental, Sonny liked having it there. It was something she was proud of, in a weird way. Maybe she was a total kleptomaniac and that was why. After all, the box was filled with a few other little trinkets she'd stolen— just a couple bits and bobs, here and there. Things that the owner had never actually needed.
