Two years went by after the failed arranged marriage, Walburga had burnt out Sirius' face off the family tree. Aries and Regulus had been told that Sirius wasn't their brother and if they defied the family they would end up just like him.

Aries didn't seem too worried about that, he looked happier. James' parents had taken him under their wings, even James had come up to her to ask if she was alright at home, she brushed him off.

"We don't want any more surprise weddings," he told her.

"Nah, I won't let them." she reassured.

Dorcas and Marlene had been together ever since their first date, Benjy would not stop telling Marlene about how much Dorcas liked her before they became a thing.

"She drooled everywhere, Marls, you should have seen her."

"I did not drool."

"Yeah you did, I saw you." Marlene said, stroking Dorcas' shoulder.

"Aries! Tell them I didn't drool."

"Of course you didn't. She salivated." Aries laughed.

"It was like Pavlov rang a bell whenever you walked past." Benjy added.

"I don't like it when you two turn against me." Dorcas crossed her arms.

"Awwh, babes." Marlene kissed her cheek. "You three coming to the party later?"

"Another one? How many parties do you Gryffindor's have?" Benjy asked. "Didn't you have one last week because Remus and Peter got detention?"

Marlene shrugged. "If there's any minor inconvenience we like to party, and it's very rare those two get detention without the influence of James and Sirius. Plus it's your brother's eighteenth." she pointed at Aries.

"Oh no, according to my Mother he's not my brother... so I'll be there, just give me the password." Aries said.

"Cool see you there, I've got practice." Marlene said, getting up from her seat. "I would invite you to watch but you might just steal the team's tactics."

Dorcas rolled her eyes. "Just admit that Hufflepuff is better, Marls."

"Oh, Cassie, I love you so much, but not that much." she kissed her forehead and walked out the great hall, Dorcas watched her lovingly.

"Ooh, Air grab the tissues she's drooling again."

"She's my girlfriend!"

"Everybody give it up for my best friend! The birthday boy!" James shouted drunkenly, he and Sirius stood on top of the tables, their arms around each other's shoulders. "Raise a toast to my brother!"

"Oi!" Aries shouted. "He's my brother as well!"

"Aries! My sister from another mister!" James shouted pointing at her. "I'm not forgetting you!"
