Richard books the whole restaurant to treat Eva to dinner 🍽️. He then presents Eva with a star pendant necklace and confesses his love but get rejected. At their housing project sales office, the salesgirl recognizes Eva. Richard learns Eva is staying on temporarily because of the staff welfare housing application. He wants her to continue to work for him to enjoy the benefit. But Eva is insistent on leaving.
A lottery draw is planned for the company's app users. The prize is a signed photo of Richard. Eva agrees to buy a house 🏠 with a great deal offered. Feeling happy,she treats her colleagues to a karaoke session. Director Huang asks Richard to join. Eva receives a call from her parents. Her father is a guarantor for a loan and the borrower has fled. Eva has to let go of the house she wants to buy but,is still short of money 💸. Richard tells her that he can help but she must work for him for 3 years and be his girlfriend. Eva rejects his offer.
Hazzel finds out about Eva's situation. She offers her money 💰 in return for her staying away from Richard. Eva is not interested. She also tells Hazzel that her name is exactly like an ex-university mate's name. Only the appearance is a little different. Vivan gives Eva the money she needs and tells her it is her bonus for all her past work. But her parents then call to say that the borrower has repaid all the money.
Eva notices the borrower's photo on Richard's desk. Richard claims that he only found the borrower for her but the repayment didn't come from him. He also asks Eva why she rejects him. Eva says it is because she still loves her ex.
