Eva's father discovers from his friend that Richard had paid for his $1 million loan previously. He talks to Richard about it and plans to repay him. But Richard explains about his memory loss 5 years ago. Her father hopes Richard will treat his daughter well to which Richard promises he will do so. Eva agrees to return to work with Richard.

Vivan sets up Hazzel at a hotel to avoid the paparazzi. They sleep together again but this time, begins dating as a couple. Hazzel puts up a clip to defend herself from the gossips. Eva asks Dr. Han about Richard's ailment. Although Dr. Han can’t guarantee that Richard wouldn’t lose his memory again, Eva is willing to take the risk to be with him.

Eva meets up with her ex-colleagues as she doesn’t want it to seem awkward if she suddenly re-joins the company. Richard drops by during their karaoke session and creates the opportunity to get Eva re-hired. But his staff criticize Eva's mysterious boyfriend. After the karaoke session, reporters swarmed Eva to ask her about her relationship with Vivan as he is now dating Hazzel. This forces Richard to announce that he is Eva's boyfriend which surprises everyone.

Richard and Eva are in the dark that Vivan and Hazzel are dating. They meet each other to talk about their situation. Eva and Hazzel become friends. Dr. Bai confesses her love for Dr. Han but gets rejected. Dr. Han finally realizes that he loves Tong Xin. He asks her to meet him and when she turns up, he sings her a song to confess his feelings. Tong Xin is surprised and delighted. Richard wants to propose to Eva but is short of ideas until he sees a place on her laptop.
