Eva informs Vivan that Richard has lost his memory again. But this time she will stay by his side. Tong Xin apologizes to Dr. Han for saying things that she shouldn't to Dr. Bai. It is still the fan-idol kind of relationship. Richard catches Eva when she falls while retrieving a report for him. Her blouse buttons become loose. Richard uses his jacket to cover her up. Eva tries to return it to him the following day but is blocked by Jin. She has to leave it with her instead.
Eva's application for staff housing has been specially approved by Richard previously and her unit is next door to his. She quietly moves in and intends to woo him back as a stranger. She puts on a facial mask when he comes to complain about her erroneous bluetooth connection to his device. But every morning, Eva will leave him breakfast at his door with a note. He gets curious that she knows his tastes.
Tong Xin drops by Dr. Han's office to find Dr. Bai sewing a loose button for him. She tries to take over the task but the needle pokes Dr. Bai instead. Tong Xin apologizes to her and the 3 of them go for a meal together. She feels left out and miserable that she couldn't fulfill Dr. Han's ideal girlfriend requirement.
Richard rings Eva's door bell to give her a thank you gift for her daily breakfast. She rushes to put on a facial mask and sprains her ankle. As he carries her to the sofa, he recognizes her shampoo scent. Eva rejects his gift when he says it was chosen by Jin. Hazzel has to attend a social function. Eva makes Vivan go to the same function with her because Richard is there.
