Richard brought Eva back to his home the previous night merely because it was raining ⛈️ heavily and she was wet. Eva secures a job with Yatai and will move to Shanghai.

Tong Xin goes to Dr. Han's house to cook🥘 for him but ends up ordering takeaway. She panics and leaves when Richard shows up. Dr. Han advises Richard to stay away from Eva for his mental wellbeing but as a friend, he doesn't want him to regret if she is wooed away by others.

Eva tells Vivan that she is going Shanghai. Richard's mother, Ms. Ye,, recalls that his father had realised that he shouldn't have stopped his relationship with Eva as long as he is happy. Richard used to be angry😡 with his father but he can now let go with his mother's revelations☺️.

Vivan purposely asks Richard for leave to send off someone to instigate him to woo back Eva. Richard lets Eva assumes😏 he has a girlfriend at home when she drops by to return their love tokens. He then stops Yatai from hiring Eva and tells her to accompany Ms. Ye if she wants to make amends for her past mistakes towards him.

Richard's mother quietly test out Eva without revealing her identity and finds her compatible with her son. Richard asks Eva to decorate a place for the following night. She assumes it is for his girlfriend. Richard thanks Hazzel for the last 5 years and tells her that Eva will always be the one for him. Vivan is then informed that Hazzel has cancelled all the marketing contracts with Bojue.

Eva is sprucing up the site for a romantic night as instructed🌌. Richard turns up and asks for her opinion on the atmosphere. He says the event is for her.
