Vivan checks in on Nie. She informs him that Richard knows about their past relationship now. Vivan passes Eva some job recommendations but she wants to rely on herself. Vivan takes a video while in Eva's apartment to make Richard jealous. Richard makes his staff work non-stop with his bad mood. He confiscates Eva's notes from Tong Xian which details how to handle him.

Dr. Han tells Tong Xin during dinner that he is uncomfortable with women due to a bitter past experience. Tong Xin wants to help him cure his women phobia and hugs him quickly. She also tells Dr. Han about Richard’s bad mood. Dr. Han then sends Richard a picture of Eva kissing him in the hospital.

Richard learns from the restaurant owner that he had fainted before Eva could give him an answer for his proposal. Eva claims she doesn’t remember when he asks her for details. She also fails to secure a job despite numerous interviews until she learns Richard is involved. She agrees to help him recover his memory on the condition that he stops interfering in her interviews.

Eva brings Richard to the places that they used to go. But she changes their subsequent appointment time. So, he goes to her place but finds Eva's parents and Vivan there. Her mother invites him to join them for dinner. Her mother complains about Eva's boss being unreasonable. Eva says Richard is her assistant.

When Eva sends Richard downstairs after dinner, he asks her why she had kissed him at the hospital. Richard kisses Nie to prove that she has feelings for him. Vivan witnesses it from the window above. Richard asks Nie to treat him the way she treats Vivan as a start if she doesn’t know what to do.
