Some time later Reyes goons wheeled in the new person, a girl with warm skin and curly hair. I lost sight of her as she was placed in the cell next to me, but I heard her wake up later.

"Why aren't you drinking?" Mirella asked the new girl. "Is it drugged?" She asked, and Mirella chuckled. "They wouldn't bother to drug your water." Mirella said, and I joined in. "Why drug us when we're behind bulletproof glass?" I asked, and I heard her choke on her water. I put the bottle in a corner for later. "What's your name?" Mirella asked her, "Don't you have a name?" The pink haired girl inquired. I didn't hear a response.

"Hello? Mirella, is she okay?" I asked, and Mirella shrugged. "Are you really not gonna talk to us?" Mirella asked her, and I leaned against the wall separating our cells. "What do you want?" She asked harshly, and I gave Mirella a questioning look. "Nothing." Mirella said, looking away. The girl groaned. "My names Mirella. What's yours?" She asked, and the girl finally responded. "I'm Nita." She said, and I smiled. "Hi Nita I'm Jimena." I said, tapping the glass. "What's happening here?" Nita asked, and I sighed. "We're prisoners." Mirella and I said in unison.

"No shit." Nita said, and I snorted. "You mean you don't know?" Mirella asked her, and I sighed. "I didn't. Why should she?" I asked, and Nita asked, "Know what?" Mirella bit her nails. "Two people in a row who didn't know, everyone else has known." She muttered. "Mirella, Jimena, what is it?" Nita asked, and I groaned. "We're in Mercado de la Muerte." I said, leaning my head back against the wall. "The Death Market." Mirella said, pressing her hands against the glass.

"Nita-" Mirella started, and I heard Nita start pacing. Suddenly the door opened and Nita began banging on the glass. "Hey! LET ME OUT!" Nita screeched, "CAN YOU HEAR ME!?" She asked. "You're wasting your breath." Mirella said, and I hummed in agreement. "They won't let you out." I agreed. "Of course they can hear you. They just don't care." Mirella said, and the pacing restarted. I heard Nita hit a wall, and I looked at Mirella, she seemed curious as well. I heard the rustle of fabric.

"It's a shower curtain, sort of." Mirella said, and I suppose that Nita was exploring her cell. "It's awfully nice of them to give us privacy." Nita said, and we snorted. "It's so we don't get the mattress wet." Mirella said. "It grows mold quickly, I suppose." I supplied, and I heard Nita tap of glass. "There's no way out." Mirella said, and I stretched, my joints popping. Bang! I jolted as the wall I was leaning on jolted. "Damn!" I swore, standing up.

As the banging continued I heard footsteps, and I growled. "How am I supposed to do any of that if I don't speak spanish?" A voice asked, Kovit, I think. "You'll manage." Reyes said, and I scratched behind my ear. "Well, it's awake." Reyes said, looking at Nita. "Go on then," Reyes said to Kovit. "Kovit." He said, and the Zannie walked into the cell. "Relax...." Kovit said, "it'll be over soon." "Nita, don't panic." I whispered.
