More Than Just 'Friends' (ON HOLD)

CHAPTER 18

i ended up dressing in a pair of skinny jeans, a pair of converse shoes and a sleeveless shirt with a sponge bob sweater over it.

"wait. did you just stare at me like that, for the whole time that i was dressing up?" i asked Cameron. he just smiles at me. "what did you see?"

"don't worry! i only saw your stomach." i just gave him a blank stare. "alright, maybe a little over that, but come on!"

"alright Cameron, i don't even care anymore. lets go." "ill go set my car, Ali." "m'kay" i went downstairs and hopped into his car. 

as we walked around the mall, Cameron hooked his hand unto my hip. we stopped by at a restaurant and took a seat in the couple's table because we were only two. a girl with black hair in a bun appears in front of our table.

"Good Afternoon! im Melanie. what would you little love birds want today?" the girl asked. 

"um actually, we're not da-" i said but Cameron cut me out. "um.. we'll take the... what do you want baby?" He looked at me with a big smile on his face.

"I'll take the Hawaiian barbecue meal with a large iced tea." "What would you want, boo-bear?" I continued.

"I'll take anything she's getting." He answered and he gave me a little wink. Melanie left to get our food but i felt uncomfortable, hearing him call me 'babe'. "dont call me that!" I whispered.

"Cupcake" He said

"Honey"

"Sweetie"

"Babe"

"kitten"

"Sugar"

"Boo"

"Enough."

"Girlfriend"

"I said enough already-" I chuckled. "Wait. Did you just call me your-"

"Girlfriend?" He said before me. "Yeah, I did." He continued.

"But then, We are not even tog-" and he kissed me, and I just realized that Melanie was in front of us. His lips tasted like mint. honestly, i didnt want it to stop.

"you guys are just so sweet!" Melanie said, placing our food on the table. "thank you" Cameron just let out a little chuckle.

the food there was Delicious. i was just eating until my phone rang. i picked it up without even checking who it was and answered it.

"party at Jack's tonight. wanna go? starts in 10 minutes. Bring Cameron!" Laura screamed and dropped the call, not waiting for an answer.

 i slowly turned to Cameron and raised an eyebrow, with the 'can you go?' look on my face.

he just replied with a nod.

i sent it to her and continued eating.

when we finished eating, i pulled my wallet out of my handbag and opened it. 

"ill take it from here, BOO." he said pushing my wallet down.

i just stared at him as he pulled out quite an amount of money from his wallet, and gave it to Melanie.

"so, about next week, can you still go to California?" i looked at him and just stared.

"okay, fine." i mumbled through my breathe. he smiled and kissed me, which lit a fire that turned my face into a bright red.
