My best friends are the only people that i trust. when i have problems, i always tell them and wait for them to give me advice, but in this situation, i dont care. there are only two people that i could talk to at this moment. they may be the people that i least expect to give me advice, but i'm left with no choice, so i went to the house that they always hangout in.
"Jeremy? Jack? are you there?" i called out, knocking on Jack's house door.
i took out the picture from my bag and bit my lip. a tear fell out of my eye, and i quickly wiped it off. The door opened, and revealed a shirtless Jack. "sup?" Jack said, walking into the house, with me tailing after him. he sat on the couch beside Jeremy and put his feet on the coffee table. i just stared at him, distracted by his beautiful Glory. "Alison?" he tilted his head with his confusion plastered all over his face.
"oh, um... im sorry, i just- uh..." i bit my lip and looked down.
"you were just checking me out."
"yes, yes i was." "what the hell? no! why would i do that? that's just weird! that's off limits, eww no! thats disgusting!" he raised his eyebrows at me and smirked. "okay, fine. yeah, i was."
"i know. admit it, Alison. you think im sexy."
my jaw dropped at his Vanity.- not the table, of course. - "really? you think so?"
"yep."
"you d!ck."
"its true."
"you're annoying."
"What are you doing here, anyway?"
"oh, its nothing. it's just lonely at home."
"i dont believe you."
i rolled my eyes at him and sat on the one-person couch on the side of the bigger one and looked at the picture again. i leaned back on the chair and another tear came rolling down my cheek, and Jack's head immediately cocked to my direction.
"Alison, are you okay?" Jeremy asked walking toward me.
i swallowed the big lump in my throat and nodded my head. "yeah, im fine."
"no, you're not." jack said, pulling the picture from my hand.
"hey! give it back!" i said reaching for it, but Jack stood up and held it over his head. i mean, i'm tall for my age, but Jack would always be taller than me.
"holy god, what the hell?" Jack said, looking at the picture. he dropped it on the floor and fell back on the couch, covering his eyes.
"why, what is it?" Jeremy said, getting the picture from from Jack's hands. "oh, im sorry, Jack."
"wait, why does it affect you, Alison? are you gay?" Jack said.
"what? no! its not Laura."
"oh, wait... you guys were in a relationship?"
"kinda, well... no. yes. its complicated."
"i still cant believe that Laura would do that to me."
"what'd Laura do?" i heard a voice behind me. i turned my head around to see Finn, Jack's older twin brother.
"finn, get out." Jack hissed.
"not until you tell me what Laura did."Jeremy passed the paper off to Finn and Finn's eyes widened.
"Jeremy!" Jack shouted.
"sorry, bro. just had to give it."
"fvck you." Jack pulled the paper from Finn and tore it in half. my eyes grew wide at the action, but it's acceptable.
