Sophie Elizebeth Foster has no clue about her past what-so-ever. Her attempts to find out about...
Sophie didn't feel good about the gala. Why? Because in the last one she'd been to, the Neverseen attacked and a prisoner escaped.
She changed into the dress the voice sent her. How it sent her? She didn't know. Sophie really hoped that the voice wasn't evil. I mean she's going to ask a criminal about it! How bad can that go! Right? Sophie was still not sure about the dress. BUT between the ruffled mess that Biana bought her yesterday and this? She'd choose this any day.
She put on her dress and earrings, slid on the ring and started her makeup and hair. Her makeup was quite simple, just a golden eyeshadow and ruby colored lipstick. Her hair was let down in soft curls but was kept out of her face by a band she didn't notice the day before. When she looked in the mirror, she had to admit she looked pretty good. And the dress was pretty comfortable too. She smiled. And leapt to the gala

"Oh my Sophie! You look really beautiful!" Biana squealed, rushing over to her, followed closely by her friends.
"Did you do this on your own?" Linh asked.
"Yeah, Sophie said looking down at her dress.
"Sophie, since these types of dresses are not your type, maybe I can, you know, take it off your hands after the gala" Biana asked.
Sophie chuckled, "Yeah, NO" she said. Biana's face fell a little.
"Any info on the neverseen?" Sophie asked.
"Yeah actually, Since the Neverseen have a lot of inside people-" Biana got off.
"They do?" Sophie asked.
"Yeah they do, I know right? That was my reaction too! Back to the point, To clarify that the particular person is with the neverseen, the symbol is subtly installed in their clothes" She finished. Why would they do that? Doesn't that make it easier for them to find the neverseen?
"Okay" Sophie said, That would make it easier to find them right? Sophie thought as she spotted Dex ran up to the group and handed them what looked like.. Earpods?
"For communication," Dex explained. Sophie nodded and slid it in her ear. And then noticed Keefe and Fitz staring at her, she ignored them, ever since the great fitzphie break up, she stopped blushing that intensely and was getting rather used to everyone's stares and whispers.
"Where's Tam?" she asked.
"'I'm here," Tam said, walking up along with Teirgan and Magnate Leto. They were all assigned particular areas to keep their eyes on.
The gala almost over as Fitz walked by.
"Hey Sophie!" He said.
"Oh hey" she replied nonchalantly.
"So... Do you like the gala?" Fitz asked, smiling in a way her past self would describe movie-worthy but her present self... not so much.
"It's fine" she snapped - honestly, can't everyone leave her alone for sometime, suddenly something caught her attention. Katherina glenn. The escaped prisoner. The one the voice told her to find. Sophie looked at her carefully and gasped, her cape was pinned with a circular pin with little gem stones arranged in the symbol of the neverseen. Fitz followed her gaze to pin and immediately shot her down with a taser gown. Sophie stared at the fallen figure, not registering anything for a few seconds. She was jerked back to reality when she heard her friends approaching.
"FITZ WHAT WERE YOU DOING OUT OF YOUR AREA?" Teirgan shouted.
"Hey! I found a damn Neverseen member" Fitz argued.
"Let me correct you" Biana said, "I 've been watching you from my side and while you're hopelessly trying to flirt with Sophie, She was the one to spot the neverseen member"
Fitz glared at her, while Biana merely shrugged.
"Okay everyone, be quiet!" Leto ordered. He looked at the neverseen member carefully. No one seemed to notice that this figure fit the description of the escaped prisoner, But Sophie wasn't surprised that they didn't. She'd also expected the prisoner to have scars and burns and stuff, but she was very beautiful - even in Elvin standards
"Where are you going to take her Mr.Forkle?" Sophie asked, as a few Black Swan put bonds on the limp body.
"We're gonna take her to the place we do interrogations and we're starting right now, no time to waste" Blur answered for him, joining their little group. Sophie nodded.
Sophie looked at Katherina, she wanted to talk to her real bad. So "Can I come too?" she asked. Forkle and Blur looked at each other. "Please?" she added.
"Why would you want to-" Blur asked.
"Please?" Sophie asked again . Mr. Forkle raised an eyebrow and Blur... it was hard to tell with his disguise.
"Fine" he said.

Ok just to clarify I didn't forget that Sophie is a shade and two, I actually edited the last chapter's ending a little so check that out if you haven't already and three I hope you enjoyed this chapter and had/have a nice day! - Emma.
