"You can't be serious!" He yells at her as he chases her down the the bridge walkway.

"I'm totally serious!" She yells back to him as she continues her  fast paced workout.

He had mentioned a while ago how boring it's become working out by himself.

Really, working out in general has always been boring for him- but regardless.

All he wanted was to dangle to bait and maybe get the response that he doesn't need to workout and they should just hangout for no particular reason—doing nothing in particular.

Yet she jumped on the band wagon quicker than shit and now—he regrets it immensely.

"I can't keep...going at this...pace!" Out of breath, legs burning and sweat pooling down his body like a waterfall, Ryan can barely keep up. The heat of the sun just walking is enough to take down an elephant- but when you're running?

That would take down the entire continent of Australia.

"I'm older...than you! You should be able...to catch me!" She cheerily calls from nearly fifteen feet ahead of him.

Freema loves working out and staying fit. Though she prefers toning and strength building over running- she doesn't mind the fast paced routine. Especially now seeing how slow the younger population —Ryan- is. Just as they get across the Brooklyn Bridge and down into a park area, it doesn't take long for Freema to feel off. Slowing down and looking over her shoulder, she finds Ryan has become even slower and as she soon slows significantly down herself- she notices him staggering along as if he has vertigo and crash diving into a thick thorny rose bush.

"Ryan!" Jogging back to him, his groans and breathless grumbles emit from him as he weakly fails to pull himself out. "Bloody Hell- what's got you out of sorts? Have you been hydrating?"

Pulling him from the bush, she just barely get him onto the edge of the pavement to sit down.

"Y...y...ea...h..." Sitting behind him- she tries to keep him up, but he keeps leaning back into her. His face laying against her chest- she holds his head to her as her one hand props her up. His right hand slides up and down her torso- the feeling turning her stomach pleasantly.

"Ryan- you alright?" She asks, pushing her fingers through his hair.

"D...don't move..."

"Do you hurt? Going to be sick?" She asks concernedly.

"Right here..." He says weakly as his nuzzles his left cheek against her breast.

"Bloody Hell- you're kidding me right?""

"Shh..." He continues his face massage and she both finds it cute and yet perverse.

"Get up- you're fine."  Shoving him to the ground, she stands up and starts walking away— her stomach churning and loins moistening from his interested touch.

Laughing slightly, he find his strength and gets up to follow her down the side walk. They walk next to each other and without a word- she shoves him with one hand back into a row of hedges and takes off running as she laughs at his frustration of trying to get up quickly from the blindsided ambush.

***Present Day***

She figured he would come around a while after his mental breakdown.

She figured a day would be more than enough time for him to realize his mistake of telling her he can't do it.
