*** Valentine's Day 2018***

The last thing anyone wanted to do was film today. Everyone had someone they planned beautiful dinners or dates for for the holiday and unfortunately, filming took precedence over the day of romance.

Ryan didn't mind it though.

He didn't have anyone to celebrate with.

He never does.

He only has his Jodie and that's all he needs in life.

"Hey, man- Happy V-Day." Jocko comes over and kisses Ryan's cheek sarcastically.

"Haha, Happy Valentine's."

"You got a hunny you're celebratin' with?"

"Do I ever?"

"Eh, I know someone you could ask."

"As flattered as I am- I don't really wanna go on a romantic dinner with you—unless it's to a Nix game of course." Ryan jokes and Jocko laughs shaking his head at his friend's antics.

"No- I know a sweet hunny who you would match up perfectly with. Want me to give you her number? She's a real cutie." Contemplating his friend's offer- Ryan knows he should probably say no.

Blind dates never work out the way one hopes they will.

"Eh, why not."

"Okay- I'll text it to ya." Taking his phone out, he messages Ryan the number and claps him on the shoulder. "Hope it goes well, Ry. If anything a fun night out will do you some good."

Walking off, Ryan looks down at the number and sighs heavily.

How can he just message someone he doesn't know and ask them out for a Valentine's date?

Opening a new text message, he tries to think of the best way to ask some stranger to dinner.

"How's it going?" Jumping, Ryan drops his phone onto the nurse's station counter and finds Freema giggling beside him. "You are too easy."

"For a tiny woman- you could at least make a little noise when approaching from behind." He scolds her and she just smiles wider and hops up on the counter.

"What's the fun in that?"

"Save me the heart attack for one." Shrugging she hands him his phone and smirks at the text he he's about to send.

"Asking someone for a Valentine's Date?"

"Nosey much?"

"Haha, it's right there. Although, you might want to rephrase -a night of fun- to something less assuming. May send the message you expect more than just dinner." She points out and he rolls his eyes, but takes her advice.

"And send." He looks up and her phone dings. "I assume you have a hot date for the night."

She smirks and begins messaging the person back.

"We shall see." When she finishes the text, she hops off the counter and heads out to leave for a different part of the set. His phone goes off and he looks down at the message.

'You really should save your numbers in your contacts before taking a "random" number to ask for a Valentine's Date.

And yes- I'll be your Valentine.🥰.'

***Present Day***

Three drinks in and he's feeling it. She was right about the three drink limit he has.
