ERIC POV:

Mess, total mess it is!!!
I begged Eliza to stay at my place for the time being, she denied my request but I was persistent that she finally said yes! I was so happy to see her close to me. I was nervous too.

Eliza POV:

As soon as we stepped out of the car, the huge building with multiple guards around made me embarrassed and nervous at the same time. Eric guided me into my room and it was so huge, so royal and so magical and it was just the way I wanted 'cozy'. "I hope it suits your taste and mood," Eric said. "It does, thank you for letting me stay" I replied, "Don't be silly, I'm glad you accepted my proposal" Eric replied back. The talks were so formal and I was not really enjoying it.

As he left, I sat down on bed and pondered why someone is trying to kill me. I don't know how I fell asleep, it was dinner time and I was not sure where to go in such a big building.

I heard someone's footsteps approaching my door, I was trying to act normal, it was Eric. He knocked on my door calling out my name, I answered with a gap and naturally, he asked me to step out for dinner. I went down with him and the dining hall was tremendously huge. As we sat on the table Eric pulled me into his arms and in no time there was firing of bullets and I had no clue about it and I fainted in his arms from the shock.

I don't know how long I was laying on the bed, I woke up and found myself on a hospital bed with nurses around me. As soon as I woke nurse shrieked out yelling I was awake, the very moment Eric popped up into the room and sat next to me asking how was I feeling, I gently answered "I'm fine but I have no clue what happened I'm so sorry I was just uk ....uhhh..."Shhhhhh, it's fine it's fine I'm glad you're up" Eric gave me an assurance. "How long have I been unconscious?!" I asked. "A day," Eric replied.

Eric POV:

Eliza looked quite relaxed when she was around but I saw the red dot on her white night suit. "Attack" I said to myself and pulled her into my arms and she fainted. I was unable to understand why someone on this earth is back of Eliza, thanks to my men we were able to catch the sniper.

It's been so long and Eliza is still unconscious, I was regretting the decision to bring her closer to me and let her stay. Doctor called me in his cabin and said there is something serious about Eliza, my heart skipped a beat for real. Hesitantly I questioned him "wh- what do you mean?!" "She has to stay away from everything that can give her panic attacks. It can risk her life. It's still unknown what's really wrong with her but I can assure you that it can be bad if progressed, we need to run tests on her to understand it well," doctor replied. As I left the cabin my mind was frozen and my heart felt so heavy and I regret every second of asking her to stay with me.

I doubted the attackers could be my enemies, the other mafia group of Anthony and his men. I heard the nurse yelling and I rushed to the room and I found the eyes I always wanted to get struck with. Eliza was conscious now and my heart was smiling but there is so much mystery hidden behind all that's happening to us.

Who's exactly doing this? Not sure about it and why? Not sure about it either.

It's time to bring back the bad ass Eric Henderson that the world can't miss to see.
