Few things never change

Eliza's POV :

It was really a gloomy morning. I decided to wake up as my body gave up on me entirely for laying in the same position for hours and hours together.

The water falls on me & feels like in a million years I have felt the warmth on my body of something on me. I decided to eat and I walked down the stairs only to come in eye to eye contact with the ones I adore the most. I look at his eyes and just walk by as they intimidate me but to be honest I would kill to look at those eyes perhaps also die to look at those set of eyes.

I walk into the kitchen and see that the breakfast is not yet ready, wondering why I start cooking some toast and pour myself a glass of juice from the refrigerator.  "Eric here you are, I was searching for you in your bedroom"says the girl who entered the house yesterday. "Well, now you found me" comes the bold voice which makes my body startled. "okay let's get going now" he says & I hear two sets of footsteps walking away diminishing the posture of the two about whom I am not aware what they hold for each other.

Eric's POV : 

I have been tired and really very upset about something unaware. I walk out of the mansion in the morning. Lily & I will go and have food outside as Lily insisted. She returned from London yesterday and she has been pestering me to show her around the city. Lily and I are really good friends from the time we studied at Harvard. Lily is a very well known business woman in the Fashion Industry she runs the Brand "Lily's Couture". 

I walk towards the car and drive silently as Lily turns up the music and enjoys her time but I am lost in thoughts. I think of the time I saw the look in Eliza's eyes she was lost, not happy sad for some reason....it's been quite a while since we didn't speak and I can see that it deteriorated our relationship further. "What's up with you Eric?" Lily says and I turn towards her. " Nothing" I say. "you have been lost for so long, how can you say nothing? Is it something that is bothering you?" she asks with concern. "No, just business you know I am just worried about a few things" I say. "it's alright, just let me know if you need any help, she says and I nod and smile at her. 

We finished our breakfast and I asked my driver to drop her at home as I have a lot of work to do today. 

After a while I got a call from Spain for business but my business papers were at home so I had to rush home to get the papers. I enter the Mansion and find Lily enjoying her time watching Vampire Diaries on TV. I just let her enjoy and walk upstairs, my eyes secretly searching for Eliza's presence but they are nowhere to be seen. 

I enter my office and search everywhere but the file of Papers is nowhere to be found. "guards" I scream from my office and within a minute six guards and seven maids assemble at the doorstep of my office. "No one is allowed inside my office, you know that right?" I question I can see terror in everyone's eyes. "yes sir?" A Maid asks "there was a very important business file lying in my drawer which is now nowhere to be seen, did anyone of you see it, taken it, sold it to other businesses as such?" I ask with a bold voice. "No sir, No sir" they answer in a tone. I was fuming with anger and there was no point in discussing this with them cause they're loyal to me and I know they would never dare to do anything to my stuff or even to say enter my office.

I dismiss them and sit inside my office as Lily enters the office. "I am sorry to hear that but don't worry you will find the file soon" I nod and ask her for some space.

After 15 to 20 minutes I hear a knock on my door and permit the person standing outside to walk in the office. "sorry sir, I hope I am not disturbing you right now" he says. I have a confused look on my face and ask him "who are you?"  he looks taken aback and he answers "I am Max, I work here I am with the chef you recently hired" he says. I look at him again with sure confusion and say "so, what work you have with me? I have no fucking time for this, at least not today" "sir, I have something very important to speak to you, with regards to the file you have been searching" he says. I moved from my chair with curiosity. "what is it?" I say. "sir when you were away at the office a woman walked into your office and I was going down towards the kitchen when I saw the woman walking out with a red file in her hand" he says. My mind cannot process any of the words he was saying. "Which Woman? there are many Women who work for me at the Mansion?" I question. "I think her name is Miss Eliza cause I once overheard you calling her by that name" he says. I immediately without thinking twice get hold of his collar and drag him so close to me that I can now sense the terror in his eyes "If you are here to waste my time with your stupid gibberish I have absolutely has no time for it" I spit the words in pure anger through my gritted teeth and my chest raising fast with anger. "I---I--I a-I am not lying si-sir" he says in fear. I let go of his collar in a split second and he loses his grip and almost falls down but saves himself from the embarrassment. He walks out of the office and I can't breathe in anger and in pure disbelief but I decide to check it myself and I storm out of my office and walk towards Eliza's room as I enter the warm fragrance embraces me and feel a little relieved but I still have things to check so I started littering things and start searching for the red file.

It's been almost half an hour so far I can't find anything and I almost give up but the unmade bed catches my attention and I simply look under the sheets and find the red file laying on the bed, my heart shattered and eyes disbelieve everything I have seen in past couple of seconds. 

Lily enters the room and she starts exclaiming "what the hell?" I just don't care anymore and she continues " Have you been searching for this file from so far?" I don't answer "Eliza can do this I never believed it, is it for real?" he questions me and everything that I have been holding so far has been completely shattered. "Sir Eliza ma'am is here" a timid voice comes through the door and I storm out of the room banging the door across the wall with a bang and I cannot control my anger anymore and my chest is raising in anger and the minute she walks in I can see her confused about why everyone gathered at the main hall and why is everyone looking at her. Those eyes give me the sense of innocence but my heart still doesn't believe she did this all but I cannot let my heart play love games anymore. The minute I tend to speak something she flinches at my body language but I cannot speak as my phone starts ringing and as I answer the call my eyes are dilated and I cannot take it anymore so I shut the call. "HOW DARE YOU?" I shout at her and she flinches and I can sense her almost having tears in pure confusion but she holds her posture right and says "What do you mean?" I step towards her and her eyes don't leave mine and I drag her out of the Mansion in anger. "Eric you are hurting me" she complains but I don't stop and take her out of the Mansion and swing her arm and let go, she swings and comes face to face with mine and she has a few tears now.
