Eric's POV:

I was quite busy for the whole day, I found the guy behind the trap. I look at the time on my watch and it's already morning. My eye lids so heavy that I literally crashed on the bed. I was on laptop whole night planning to expand my business to third world countries and also planning to build some flats for the people in need. I have meetings lined up before that I will talk about this to my dad who is the ultimate boss so I made a call and asked him to join me for dinner which went pretty well however Eliza was not present there, my dad would have been shocked to see her here but he can't change a thing now, I'm not powerless like I was in past, I'm grown up.

I went to sleep and woke up around afternoon. Through the stairs I reach the kitchen and I see Amina aunty there, she is our family caretaker, she cooks for us and also takes care of all house chores and house staff for cleaning and maintenance. She is literally a gem, I respect her a lot.

Amina greets me 'Good afternoon Eric, it's been a while to see you after a good sleep' she giggled in pure happiness. 'yes! It's been a while since I had a good sleep' I joked about it and asked 'where is Eliza?!'
'I knocked on her door many times from the morning, but I didn't hear anything, maybe she is sleeping' she said. I was so stressed now 'How can you just leave her like that, she has not been out from yesterday afternoon. She might be hungry, she might be sick, it can be anything. I don't know what's wrong with everyone these days, why is no one doing their job properly' I growled. 'Get me the spare key to Eliza's room' I growled through the phone. I see Amina from corner of my eye, she was so tensed.

I rushed to her room and was literally banging on door, she was not responding anything. I was super annoyed about the key, the negligence of my people and 'I' how can I not check on her, yes I was busy but this is not acceptable. My heart beat was rushing too bad. I was not liking this feeling like something is not gonna last long. It was already 8 minutes and there is no sight of the guy who needs to bring the spare key, that motherfucker is dead in my hands. I broke the door after few attempts and I look here and there after a thud and she was no where to find. I rush to the bathroom and find her there. I slap on her face and call out her name. Her face so pale and whitish. She was so cold. I took out my tee and got her dressed and grabbed a towel and covered her for warmth. 'Call the hospital and ask them to arrange an emergency doctor and a VVIP room' I said to Samuel who is my main secretary.

My upper body naked, but I didn't care anything. It was grey weather outside. Everything is scaring me now. I carried her bridal style and took her inside the car. She wasn't even responding to any of my touches. I was losing my shit. I was petrified. I will do everything to save her even if it will cost my life. I nod my head towards Amina who was next to me in all of my actions and I rush the car towards the hospital.

I drove too fast, my upper body still naked. I ask my secretary who was there before me to park the call. 'I arranged everything as you said sir, this is stretcher and these people will guide you and Miss. Eliza to the VVIP room' he said. I just nodded and rushed to the people carrying her around my arms. Those arms had no strength, no feel & no life. I placed her in the stretcher and in no time I see her pushed away from me. My breathing was uncertain and I needed to cool myself down. I was so scared for her. I don't know what happened to her. I have no idea what was she going through and that is what exactly PISSING me.

It's been almost an hour and there is still no news about her. I am annoyed. I see a doctor walking out of the emergency room, I run towards him demanding an answer. 'Hello Mr. Henderson I must say that She is quite unwell and clearly in danger. Her blood flow is uncertain, she is not responding to any of the treatment as she was in water for too long. She was empty stomach too. No supplements for the defense which even more caused her damage. She was stressing too, maybe. She was in water for too long so we need to let her rest for now. We completed the treatment' he said. 'She has to wake up or else this hospital along with you will go down in flames' I growl at him in annoyance, tension, anxiety and anger. He looks in my eyes in fear and I let him go.

'Make sure the room has many humidifiers and put a doctor on stand by and to keep check on her every 10 minutes, a nurse for her vitals check and food supply. Call a prominent Nutritionist for the diet plan' I say to my secretary. 'yes sir, sure thing' he says and walks away making phone calls.

She is still resting, I will have a look of her when she is all awake. I don't wanna see her in this way when she is not feeling anything and is not in life. Atleast she is breathing that's what makes me sigh in relief.

My secretary comes back with a tee and a group of people I asked for. They quickly get to work and I just sit there thoughtless on the chair.

I see a nurse tensed and running, I stop her grabbing her arm softly reminding myself not to hurt her and ask her what's wrong 'Mr. Henderson the situation of the patient is critical' she replies.

I feel my whole world washed away beneath my legs. I feel like someone pinched my heart. I felt miserable. I was angry at myself for not caring Eliza. Why did I behave so bad with her in the office, I was regretting like hell.

Tension surrounds me now like hell & heaven.

Nice to see you guys, after so long. I got busy with some stuff so I was unable to update on time. I am kinda lost on motivation to write the following chapters.

I want to give my best, for that I need to process the whole story!
