walking on the same path

Eliza POV:

As I turned around I see.... my desk mate Eric...I was lil stunned and overwhelmed by his beauty. I asked him pretending as if I'm okay but deep down I was freaking out "What is it?". He replied casually "you didn't pack your pencil pouch, it was left on the desk...so I just chased you..to umm....give you this" I felt so stupid and said "why did you bother yourself..I could have collected it tomorrow nevertheless thank you!" He replied with a smile "my pleasure" and he walked on his own way wishing me to have a safe ride to home. I uttered "damnnn" to myself and started walking towards the parking lot to fetch my bicycle. I hopped on the cycle and started my ride....all along the way I was wondering about everything that happened in just a one day..it was such messy, dramatic and beautiful day.

I stopped by at the library cause I felt like spending some time at the most peaceful place. I grabbed a novel by Jane Austen it was so original and started going through when I heard a lil knock on my table and I looked up curiously and there we go.....I see him again...Eric.

I suddenly jumped out of my seat and asked him awkwardly "What are you doing here?" He replied with a mocking tone "why ...is this library yours?" I laughed out in sarcasm and replied "I wish it was" and I sat on my seat and he sat just before my table facing towards me and he had a novel by Virginia Woolf, I found it very interesting to see someone like him interested in books. I continued with my book and lost the track of time.

I wondered what was the time and looked up at the clock and it was 7pm and it was getting little cold. I whispered to Eric "Are you not late?" He replied "I'm not... Are you?" I replied "I'm and I think you should also head back to your home" he stood up saying "well then...let me walk along with you..it's getting dark so I don't want anyone to blame me tomorrow if something happens to you" and he started laughing a bit. I smiled back and we both headed towards the same road.

We shared the same path under the sparkling stars and the crescent moonlight, all I could see was our shadows which were also walking together. I turned towards him...his face is hidden under the darkness of the night but it shined through when the moonlight touched him. He was so beautiful..so aesthetic..so appealing...I think I should stop thinking so highly about him. Uffff!

I reached home and asked him to get in for a soft drink...he insisted he would leave now as it's already late. I waved at him as he crossed the street and wished him good night!

Eric POV:

After a hour or more she turned up and whispered at me and asked if I'm not getting late I said no and asked about her, she said yes, I told her that I will accompany her on the way to her home making her safety as an excuse but the truth was it was good and I left so calm at her side.

As we walk, it made me giggle a little to share the same path with her. It was absolutely silent all along the way and when we reached she insisted me to come in for a soft drink, I insisted I will rather go home cause it's already late. She waved at me as I crossed the street and I felt like I was surrounded by emptiness again ..like the light on my side left me and walked away. I was feeling deeply alone and walked towards my home in silence. Until I had a warm bath the emptiness made me feel like choking myself in the darkness. I went down to the kitchen and heard someone walking towards me and ask "so how was your first day at the school and why are you late for the dinner?... it's past 9pm" I replied "Mom you scared me for a minute...my day was good and I was at library so it got kinda late..I'm sorry I will make it tomorrow" she hugged me wishing me good night and added "Go to bed as soon as possible, don't stay up for long time". I did as she said.

Next morning is gonna be a new start cause I know what I feel about her by just staying next to her for few hours...I can't imagine how will my life be if she is in it..... absolutely blissful.
