My Forever Hope

Chapter 5

I woke up to the sound of someone singing and thats when I realized I was still downstairs and thats when I saw it Tom was the one I heard singing while cooking breakfast.  I took this opportunity to record him

Getting my phone out I hid under the blankets and recorded while I was under the blankets that was until Tom turned around and I hid instantly got under the blankets phone still recording.  I felt something poke my side and I did my best to hold in my laughter but then the poking continued and I dropped my phone outside of the blanket and the poking stopped and I heard my phone being picked up and then the blankets were ripped off me 

"Y/n what do you have to say to the camera?"

"Nothing"

"You sure because it seems like your hiding something"

"Nope" I said while jumping off the couch grabbing my phone and running outside 

"Come back here missy"

"NEVER!"

At this point I stopped recording and started running the best I could since my ribs were still healing.  I made it to the bushes and started to climb into them knowing Tom wouldn't be able to reach me there.

"I'm going to find you"

I couldn't help but put my hand over my mouth so he wouldn't hear me but then i felt something on my arm and saw a spider and fell out of the bushes landing on my back which caused me to knock the wind out of myself and my ribs started to hurt more.

"Y?N!"

I couldn't breath I just kept moving trying to get me to be able to breath again.  Tom put my head on my lap trying to ask me what happened 

"T-Tom I-I can't b-breath I-I fell"

"You must have knocked the wind out of yourself you should be ok try to take a deep breath for me ok"

Tom started to take deep breaths and I followed along shortly after that I was able to breath again but my side was hurting again

"Tom my side hurts"

"Hey its ok darling hold onto me were going to walk inside and lay you down on the couch"

I nodded in agreement and we slowly walked into the house.  Tom placed my on the couch and got and icepack and I held it close to the brace I had on

"Y/n what exactly happened for you to fall outside"

"Well when I was hiding i got into the bushes and hid but then there was a spider crawling on my arm and i got scared and fell because well I have arachnophobia" I said looking down starting to tear up

"Y/n its ok everyone has a phobia hey its ok" He said while pulling me into a hug

"I know it's just I have never told anyone because no one has ever seemed to care but you do so I told you"

"Its ok how about we don't go into the bushes anymore darling"

"Perfectly fine by me"

"Eheheh come now I am going to start making dinner were going to have Y/f/f"

"Let me help I love to cook"

"Ok lets get started"

...

After dinner me and Tom decided to watch movies until about 10 p.m.  then we decided to go to bed since I have school tomorrow and Tom has his classes to teach 

I woke up at around 5 in the morning took a shower brushed my teeth and hair then got dressed.  Walking downstairs I saw Tom drinking his coffee 

"Good morning Y/n how did you sleep"

"Morning Dad I slept good how did you sleep" I said as I started to get my shoes on

"I slept good and also why are you getting your shoes on its only five in the morning?"

"Well I figured I would walk to school today and go to the library"

"Darling your not walking first of all its still somewhat dark second of all your ribs are still healing and you wouldn't be bale to get into the library to begin with the school isn't open"

"Thats what you think sometimes I would get there at like four in the morning and get into the library"

"How?"

"Window they never lock them"

"I know that its probably illegal that you did that but I'm not mad just don't do it often ok I don't want you to get in trouble"

"Ok I promise"

...

At around 6:30 in the morning me and Tom got to the school and hangout in his class until it was time for school to start.  Once school started I hurried to get to my classes so I wouldn't have to run into anyone.  I got to my history class and the teacher started handing back our tests and when I looked at mind I only got a C knowing that this test was half my grade I started to worry which led to me hyperventilating my vision was getting dark and i started crying.  I heard people talking then I felt a hand on my shoulder and someone took me into the hall and sat with me trying to calm me down but I just couldn't calm down the only person who could calm me down was Tom but he had classes

"Y/n can you here me its Mr. Jeffry your history teacher I need you to calm down for me"

I couldn't calm down nothing would work I needed Tom

"Ok Y/n is there someone that can help you"

"T-Tom"

"Mr. Hiddleston?"

I just nodded my head and I heard him walk away but I still couldn't calm down I tried to count I tried to breath nothing was working until I felt someone pull me up to stand and held my head to their chest and thats when I realized it was Tom

"I'm right here darling listen to my heartbeat" Tom said while stroking my hair 

I focused on Toms heartbeat and his breathing until I was finally able to calm down some and understand who was near me, I saw my history teacher and someone from the office along with Tom who was still holding me

"Y/n how come we needed to get Mr. Hiddleston?" my history teacher said 

"She has had a rough past I adopted her not to long ago her past family would abuse her so I'm now her father" Tom said in a somewhat defensive tone

"T-Thank you dad"

"Your welcome do you think you can finish your classes for the day?"

I just needed my head and hugged him one last time before going back into my classroom

...

At the end of the day I didn't stay with Tom like i usually did I went to the library and sat in the far corner and started crying wondering why me how come I had to get abused how come my life is like this

"Y/n what's wrong are you ok" Tom said while he had a look of concern on his face

"Why me h-how come I-I had to g-go through almost my entire l-life getting abused and everyone hated me"

"Y/n I am sorry you had to go through all of that I know your struggling but i am here for you every step of the way no matter how hard it gets"

I didn't say a word I just got up and hugged Tom knowing he will always protect me and be there for me.  The rest of the night me and Tom spent playing board games at home
