My Forever Hope

Chapter 7

I woke up in an unfamiliar room but then I remembered what happened the day before.

"Dad?"

"Oh my god Y/n how do you feel are you ok?"

"Ya hurts a little bit but I'll be fine"

"I am so happy your ok I-I heard screaming and  then I found you and she s-stabbed you oh god Y/n"

At this point Tom was sobbing while holding my hand, I felt so bad for him he has gone through so much since he's adopted me.

"Hey its gonna be ok I'm fine"

"I know but when you blacked out I thought I lost you and I can't live without you"

"And I can't live without you but trust me its going to take a lot more to kill me"

"Y/n promise me something"

"Anything"

"Please eat lunch with me during your lunch time or text me when your going to the bathroom in the school I don't want you hurt again"

"I promise I will"

"Thank you darling"

"Anything Dad"

After a while the doctor came into the room and told me I'm free to go home but I can't be going to school for a couple days since I need to take it easy and wait for the wound to get better.

...

After Tom signed the discharge papers we went home and decided to eat lunch.

Tom made me lay on the couch he didn't want me doing anything but no matter how much I protested he still made me lay down.

"Dad come on I want to help"

"Y/n I already said no I want you to rest after everything you have been through I need you to relax please for me"

"Fine only because I love you"

"I love you too"

About 2p minutes later Tom brought in sub sandwiches with some chips

"Wow Dad this is good"

"Thank you I didn't know what you liked on them I just took a guess"

"Well that was one hell of a guess haha"

"Eheheh"

Tom started talking but I spaced out started thinking of what would have happened if Tom never saved me and if something was to happen to him.

"Darling are you alright?"

"Ya I'm fine don't worry"

Tom didn't even have to talk he knew something was wrong he knee I was lying.

"Y/n I know your lying what's on your mind?"

"Just thinking about what could have happened if you never showed up and what if you got hurt"

"Oh darling it's ok I'm fine I would have found you no matter what"

I couldn't be in the room any longer I needed to go outside for a breather so I decided to go to my spot later tonight when Tom was sleeping.

...

"Goodnight Dad I'll see you tomorrow"

"Goodnight love you"

"Love you too"

I walked into my room and shut the door waiting for Tom to fall asleep.

Around 2 in the morning I decided that I would go to my spot.  I left a note for Tom saying I'm at my spot also saying where it is in case he wants to come find me.

After leaving the note I put a sweater and some shoes on and headed toward the little pond I used to go to after my dad would beat me.

Getting there was easy along with finding my spot was easy it was a log by the water I would sitnon it and sing while I was there knowing no one can hurt me.

...

I checked my phone and it said 4 am I didn't want to go home yet I needed some time to relax and think about everything that has happened in the past month.

"Y/N!"

I recognized that voice it was Tom's he must have seen the note.

"Over here Dad"

I heard Tom walk over and I felt someone sit next to me.

"Darling what time did you leave?"

"Around two in the morning"

"Y/n why did you leave I got so worried when I didn't see you in your room then when i found the note I got even more worried not knowing if it was truly you who left the note"

"I left because I needed to think about all the messed up shit that has happened to me in the past month and my entire life"

"I completely understand I'm not mad at you I was just worried and scared that something happened"

"I'm sorry I know I shouldn't have left but I needed to I needed to get away"

Tom pulled me into a hug because he knows if I was to talk about this topic anymore I would have a panic attack.

"Thank you for accepting me as I am knowing my past and what I have been through"

"I will always accept you no matter what because I love you"

"Thank you I love you too"

After a while Tom and I went home and spent the rest of the night relaxing and talking.
