Chapter 15

It had been a couple of weeks since I started dating David. He comes over every weekend. Tom loves him like a son-in-law already.

I woke up all happy because I knew today was the first day of spring break. I walked downstairs and I saw my boyfriends outside through the backyard door with Tom setting stuff up.

Walking outside I crept up on both of them.

"Hi, guys". I said with a giggle, they both jumped dropping what they were holding.

"Goodmorning love," said David kissing me.

"Goodmorning darling how did you sleep?" said Tom

"I slept good just shocked you're here babe I didn't know you were coming over"

"That would be my bad I contacted his parents and he is going to be going on a couple of weeks' vacation with us for spring break". I screamed with joy and hugged Tom then hugged David.

"well, I need to pack". I ran upstairs and started packing when I felt someone put their arms around my waste.

"Your dads gone. I giggled

"Oh is he". David pulled me in for a passionate kiss and things just escalated from there.

After I and David did stuff we went downstairs and watched a movie. Not long after we started the movie Tom came back.

"Hello, you two" we waved hi and went back to the movie. Tom went into the kitchen and started dinner while we watched the movie. After the movie, we all ate dinner.

"What did you two do while I was gone?"

"We watched this movie and then went outside here and there". He nodded his head and smiled.

"Well were leaving after we eat I hope you're both ready"

"we are"

We were all getting everything in the car and then got in and started our long journey to the cabin. Looking out the window I was trying to focus but I started overthinking again.

^What if he doesn't love me anymore^ I thought to myself I looked over at my boyfriend and saw he was sleeping and I just looked back out the window again until Tom said something.

"Y/n you okay back there you're quiet?"

"I'm fine," I said in a low tone and just kept looking out the window. I noticed Tom was pulling off to the side of the road and then parked the car and got out. I unbuckled and got out as well.

"Dad, why did you pull over are you okay?"

"No, because I know something is wrong what arent you telling me Y/n?" I sighed

"I'm overthinking okay what if David doesn't even love me what if I'm just a stupid girl who chases him around and he doesn't love me"

"That's not true". I turned around and saw David standing there with a hurt look on his face.

"David.."

"No listen to me, I know you overthinking and I know you're struggling and I know you need me and I am so so sorry you feel like this but I promise on my life you are my love the love of my life your my beautiful girl your mine and I'm yours forever and always" At this point I was crying and he walked over and pulled me into his chest and just held me.

"Thank you, David". I heard dad say.

"your welcome sir but why are you thanking me?"

"Because up until now I thought I was the only one able to comfort my daughter and help her but now I know she has you to so thank you son". I sniffled and barrier my head more into David's chest. We stayed like this for a while until we all got back into the car and David held me while I rested.
