FIRST DAY

I ran to the reception on my floor and asked the receptionist Kiara, I guess, about my desk as she was supposed to give me the tour and tell me the ropes of the work and quickly made my way towards it. I kept my purse and walked to Mr. Smith's cabin.

Not walked, I RAN.

"Save me Jesus" I prayed to god as I entered his cabin after knocking and hearing a come in.

"Good morning Sir." I wished him.

He was in there. Hence I was late. What the fuck!

"You're late Ms. Brown." He stated the obvious but I wasn't gonna give up without a fight. But I didn't know I could make it worse.

"Sir its 8:00. I think I am pretty good on time."

My stupid ass can't stop arguing now. Stop it Sophia.

"Ms. Brown I think you don't know the basic rule about being an assistant. Let me tell you then. See as an assistant you should reach before your boss not with your boss. You're supposed to keep a hot cup of coffee on my desk when I reach. Not the other way around."

"Sorry sir, it won't happen next time." It was better to just shut up and apologize. He was right. It was my fault.

"Better not or I will throw you out of this office. Now go get me a black coffee without sugar."

"Yes sir" I told Mr.Smith.

Walking out of the door, all I could think was how ruthless this man is.

Such a pain in the ass. He could've let me off the hook with a warning. There was no need to threaten me. Any way lets get him his coffee so that he can chill the heck out.

I asked Kiara about the cafeteria and headed there to make a cup for Calvin and one for me as I was starting to feel a little dizzy. While I was making his coffee a cute guy named Alex came near to me and asked me if I was new here. So I told him that I was Mr.Smith's new assistant. He told me how angry he is like all the time and almost all assistants quit due to his anger issues or he fires them because they are not up to mark. In that case I am on the verge of both being fired and quitting. Because I can't deal with angry people as I'll start arguing with them with full swing and neither I am an experienced assistant. So I guess I'll be fired within some time.

Making my way back to his cabin with coffee cup in one hand, my brain was thinking how hot this man is .

Not again Sophia.

He just insulted you and you are still thinking about his hotness.

Grow up babe.

"Sir, your coffee" I said as I entered his cabin.

"Keep it on the desk, Ms. Brown." He said without looking up from the computer screen.

Can't even say thank you , what kind of a bastard is he ? He doesn't have any fucking manners. Oh god its just nine in the morning and I have already abused so much. STOP IT FOR GOOD NOW SOPHIA.

"You can go now Ms. Brown. And when I call you again bring the Davis Company's file."

I nodded and came out from his cabin. As soon as I was about to sit on my desk I got a call from him and I rushed back there. I didn't even got time to appreciate my office.

I swear I'll kill him.

"What have you done to this coffee, Ms. Brown? It tastes like the worst thing in this world. Please get me another cup and make it better this time."
