Calvin drove me back to my apartment and kissed me goodbye. And oh boy! I can never get over his kisses. I called out Emma to check if she is back yet.
“Coming Sophia, just a minute.”
“Can’t wait a minute. Gotta talk. NOW!” I shouted.
“What happened.” Emma came running from her room.
“Calvin asked me to move in with him.” I was so pumped up.
“Whaaaaaat!!!!! Are you serious?” Emma’s eyes grew big in shock.
“Yes Emma.” I spoke.
“I can’t believe. Who knew your hottie boss would be your roomie?” Emma said.
“You didn’t ask me if I said yes?” I asked her.
“Not even a question Soph. I know how much you love that man.”
“That I do.” I spoke with a smile.
“So when are you moving?” Emma asked.
“Next week maybe.” I said. We didn’t discuss this though.
“That’s too soon Sophia.” Emma pouted.
“I know Emma and I am so nervous about this. I’ve never lived with any boy. And As much as I’m thrilled I don’t wanna leave you.” I hugged her.
“Aww, me too. But you know it had to happen eventually. You were gonna get married and so would I therefore it’s better that we can learn living without each other.”
“Yeah but that’s kinda rude Emma.”
“Sophia it’s not rude, it’s the truth.” Emma hugged me tight.
“Damn gonna miss this.” I said.
“Dude I’m not leaving you. We can still hug each other.”
“Yeah. Just don’t make me laugh and let me enjoy this Emma.” I said.
“I’m gonna miss you bitch.” Emma said.
NEXT MORNING
I woke up a little early this morning because my head was filled up with all the thoughts about us moving in together. I need to stop this and jump in shower right now.
After I was done dressing up I cooked some pancakes for us. Emma had work too. I was all ready to eat when my phone dinged. It was a message from Calvin.
‘Good morning babe. On my way to your place.’
‘Morning honey. I’m waiting. You had your breakfast or should I pack something for you.’ I messaged him back.
‘I’m full. But if you cooked something special wrap it up I’ll have it during lunch.’
‘I made pancakes but it’ll be stale by lunch.’
‘Ohh. But that’s okay. I’m gonna get pancakes every morning now.’ Calvin texted me. And it immediately put a smile on my face.
‘Not everyday. Some days I might get your french omelette.’
‘Oh yeah. Can’t wait baby. Love you x.’ Calvin replied.
Soon he picked me up and we were on our way.
“So you free for lunch today?” I asked Calvin.
“Yeah. Actually I had a meeting but it got cancelled last night. So I’m free as a bird.”
