Dear diary. I mean journal! (A drarry fic)

Dear journal

"The diary?" Lucias stood suddenly

"Are you sure?" Draco nodded at his fathers words and felt a knot form in his throat

"Dad. I- I can't let someone find that- I've written things in there that no one must know- I can't. I can't go through the humiliation" Draco began to pant his breathing was heavy and his chest felt like it was going to explode

"Draco calm down it'll he okay" Lucias walked to the door where the guards pointed wands at him

"Calm down. My son has lost something very dear to him. I want to speak with the headmistress" Draco pushed past them and began to speed walk up the stairs

"Come along then boys let's follow the boy" lucias walked with his head high as the guards followed reluctantly

They walked down corridors and kids gasped softly at the sight of the older blond

"They must think Im pretty handsome if they keep looking" lucias chuckled the guards rolled their eyes and glanced at Draco who stared at the crowed in front of the great hall

"Hey what's everyone standing here for?" Draco asked a random Hufflepuff

"Astoria green grass and Harry Potter are about to duel" they said Draco gasped forgetting anything about the diary and tried pushing through the crowd but there were to many kids packed together

"Help the kid out won't you?" Lucias said to the guards who sighed heavily

"Make way!" One yelled and kids began to part letting only Draco through because the crowds didn't really care much for missing out on the action

"Alright greenass you need to sit your crusty ass down right now before you actually piss me off" Harry said and Draco got closer the fight all the teachers were knocked out at their tables which made Draco sick she had done something to them no doubt

"Oh come on now boy who lived you don't scare me. A fag like you won't scare me for shit" Astoria laughed drawing her wands and pointing it at Harry

"Do sit down and enjoy the show" everyone gasped as Harry was forced to sit down and astoria pulled out out a leather book and cleared her throat Dracos heart fell to his stomach that was his diary

"I don't know why Harry takes care of me but I feel like I could stare at him for hours and never get tired of his face" Astoria read and Draco felt sick

"STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT!" Harry yelled his cheeks turning pink

"Today Harry tried to smoke with me he's very cute. Cigarettes are highly addictive but I think it become addicted to him before I ever become addicted to tabaco" Astoria gagged as she read it and students from all over the room laughed loudly as Draco fell in front of astorias feet

"Dragon! How lovely to see you here!" She cooed as Draco stood up his fists balled up

"Give it back I don't want to cause a scene" Draco said extending a hand and glancing at Harry who looked away quickly

Draco couldn't even imagine what Harry was thinking he was probably still upset with him and after hearing the things Draco had been writing in his stupid diary he was probably more upset than ever

"I'll give it back if you finally agree to go through with your engagement with me come on now Draco do what you're supposed to do." She smiled

"Fuck off" Draco spat in return she glared snd threw the book straight at Draco

"Fine. I don't need the stupid book anyway! I have this." Astoria picked up her satchel and took out a camera something muggles used but this one was different Draco could feel magic flowing through it he watched Astoria let up the spell she had put on Harry but he didn't stand he just lifted his head and watched As Astoria basically broadcasted a privet moment from the day before

It was Draco sitting on his bed with Pansy and blaise next to him and Harry creeping up to the door

"I'm gonna stage a public breakup with him" Dracos words echoed through the room and it fell silent

"Just in case anyone here didn't hear that Draco here said stage meaning their relationship per say wasn't real it was all fake so Draco could seem redeemable! And look at poor Harry who here believes he the chosen one who defeated Voldemort would ever choose to be with someone who served him!" Astorias words cut through the air like hot knifes through melted butter

"And if he did what makes you think Harry who shared a shred of humanity with him isn't trying to become the next Voldemort by trying to use his old followers to now work for him?"  Astoria continued

Draco stood there completely shocked what could he say?

His biggest fears surrounded him

For one

Everyone knew he was gay he could practically feel eyes drilling the back of his head and the venom being spat at his feet

Second

Everyone knew what he and Harry had was fake it didn't matter how much Astoria read from the book everyone can just assume it's a fake

third

Harry hadn't said a single thing since Draco had arrived on the scene all he did was stand there lips closed and eyes fixated on Draco

And finally

Harry was being put in danger Draco didn't miss the blood trailing down his arm or the broken glasses on the floor

Draco but his lip and stared at Astoria who continued on and on

"Fine" Draco swilled thickly

"Fine?" Astoria repeated a smug smile pulled at her lips

"Fine I'll marry you" Draco said and glanced at Harry who's hands shook

Draco smiled at him giving him a cheeky wink

"Really!?" Astoria said surprised at how easily Draco gave in

"Nah" Draco laughed as he threw the book at her head and dove for her wand

"Harry! Help!" Draco yelled as he held Astoria down and Harry smiled at his words

"Will do!"
