Chapter Eleven

Chapter Eleven-

Ethan's POV-

I looked at everyone in their organized groups as we all walked into the woods. Nick was in my group and so was Mikie. I had tried to convince Mikie to stay home with Grace and Thomas but he wouldn't do it. So he got stuck in our group so Dakota wouldn't do anything stupid. The groups were:

Nick and myself, Dakota and Samantha, Daniel and Andrea, Leah Ann and Tony, Sophie and Eric, Kyle and Fredrick, Luke and Josh, Jake and Luna, and Samuel with Sierra.

We all wished each other good luck and went to look in the section of the woods that was assigned to us. Nick shifted and I put Mikie on his back so we could walk faster.

"Uncle Ethan are we gonna find them?" Mike asked quietly.

I nodded.

"Of course we will Mikie." I answered.

"Yeah kid don't lose hope." Nick said in our heads.

I nodded and looked away as we started our search. Nothing stood out as we walked through trees and bushes, everything looked the same.

"Let's face it man. All nature looks alike." Nick complained in my head.

I rolled my eyes but smiled. Suddenly we came upon a clearing which I recognized immediately.

"This is where Mia was before she blacked out. Before I wasn't able to contact her." I mumbled walking into the clearing.

I closed my eyes and saw something flash in my brain like a video.

Another vision.

I shook my head and opened my eyes.

"Uncle Ethan?" Mikie said suddenly.

I looked at him.

"Movies show you things you might need to know. They show us things too."

My brows furrowed at Mikie's statement but I closed my eyes anyway, letting the vision take over.

~ Vision ~

I watched as Mia ran, her breathing labored as she was tired because all of her energy was going straight to the baby. I could hear people running after her like hunters chasing a deer through the woods. I watched from some trees as she ran into the clearing and a hand came from under the ground and snatched her ankle, sending her flying to her face. I watched as she stopped the fall with her arms and she looked back, screaming at the hand that held her ankle captive. She screamed help and I watched her struggle against the random hand from the ground.

"Mia you are as feisty as my father said. He was right about you. So stubborn and foolish." Shawn's voice boomed around the whole clearing but he was nowhere to be found.

"I hate you!!" She screamed and closed her eyes tightly.

He laughed and then he suddenly appeared behind her. He leaned over her shoulder.

"Good." He whispered.

She screamed again and I crumbled as I watched her start to completely lose it before blacking out.

~ End Of Vision~

I could hardly breathe as I looked up from where I now was on the ground. Nick rushed forward with Mikie. He jumped off of Nick's back.
