Chapter Nine~

Olivia's POV-

I could hear Mia's deep, even breathing as she slept. I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep. Not after what I just went through. I frowned. I felt dirty and disgusting and uncomfortable. Images if what just happened went through my head and I closed my eyes, blocking them out.

My father raped me.

Of course that wasn't the first time it happened to me. I just hoped that after Dakota rescued me, it would never happen again. I hoped that that dirty old man would never touch me ever again.

I whimpered and curled myself up into a ball.

I wish Dakota was here. He would've been able to stop it. He could've saved me.

A tear slid down my cheek.

Man up, a voice said in my head.

I swallowed back the sobs, took a deep breath and wiped away the stray tear on my cheek. Sitting up, I looked around the room and then straight to the window. I could feel someone's eyes on me and stood up, walking towards the glass. On my way towards it, I grabbed a chair and sat in it in front of the window. It became regular glass then and I was staring into the eyes of Shawn. We stared at each other in silence for the longest time until I finally spoke.

"Can I please take a shower?" I asked nicely.

He nodded and stood up, disappearing from the room. I turned around as the door opened and he walked in. I walked over to Mia and shook her awake. She woke up immediately, looking up at me. I watched as the flicker of hope died in her eyes when she realized we were still here, trapped.

"I'm going to go take a shower and wash...him off of me." I whispered quietly.

She nodded and looked at Shawn.

"Don't let that douche go anywhere near her." She growled.

He glared at her.

"Watch your tone." He hissed.

He turned to me and motioned for me to follow him. I took one last look at Mia before the door closed between us. I looked around as Shawn guided me to wherever it is we were headed. The hallway we were in was concrete, plain and ugly.

"Why don't you do something around here like paint or something? It's so ugly and depressing here." I mumbled.

He chuckled and shook his head, not even bothering to turn around. Suddenly he stopped and opened a door. I slowly walked inside and looked around. We were in a huge room that had showers like....everywhere. It almost looked like something you would find at your high school gym class. He handed me some clothes, soap and shampoo.

"Don't take too long." He mumbled and closed the door.

I sighed and set the clothes in a corner, stripping my own clothes off. I turned one of the showers on and waited for the water to get hot. When it did I quickly washed my hair and scrubbed as hard as I possibly could to get my father's smell off of my skin. When I was satisfied, I rinsed off and turned the shower off, wrapping my towel around my body. My breath caught in my throat when I heard someone's foot hit the ground behind me. I froze where I stood and closed my eyes. I started to shake. I slowly turned around, opening my eyes and saw my father standing in front of me. His eyes raked my body, from head to toe, slowly. Anger flooded through my veins and I glared at him. He started to walk around me in a slow circle and I watched his every move.
