Your company finally managed to call you in after skipping the MVP announcement. Saying your manager had been pissed was an understatement.

"Do you know what we've been dealing with these past few days since you pulled that? It's been hell here with us trying to reach an agreement for our sponsors not to sue us." Mr. Coleus lectured while you tapped the handle of the spinning chair you sat in. Resisting the urge to twirl a few times throughout the meeting you tried focusing on what your manager was saying to you.

"..and being tired after a long day isn't an excuse, if the other heroes can do it you will too, now how are you going to make up this mess?"

You bounced your leg for a bit in thought.

"I'll stop going home early?" You suggested weakly.

"You've said that to me time and time again (Y/n), yet I've somehow still not fired you, try and convince me, or your time with Hero T.V. is over." Your boss stated with a look of disappointment on his face.

The bouncing of your leg sped up.

"Mr. Coleus I can promise that I'll do whatever you tell me in the future with no complaints."

His features still had a frown on his face.

"I can also say if you plan on having me partner with another hero or anything I completely understand and I'll do it." You rambled on watching as his face morphed into a thoughtful expression.

"Hold that thought (Y/n), now you said you'd finally listen to me here on out, right?"

You nodded trying to understand where he was going with this.

"Good, I'll make a few calls and wait on some responses, you can leave for now but I want you back here immediately once I call do you understand?" He spoke in the tone of a parent installing the reminder to take the meat out of the fridge to thaw before they got back.

"Yes sir." You said before he shooed you off.

Exiting Coleus' office you hoped you hadn't given him any ideas that would take up your entire day. You let out a puff of air into the mask you were wearing mulling over what your managers plans were. The moping hadn't lasted long when the 'call' on your bracelet lit up.

"At least I'm close to my suit."

There was a wait before you could jump into action, to pass time you made pizza on your phone while Agnes spoke over the communicator.

"Nefarious aren't you suppose to be watching for the tank?"

You peeked up from the game and peered over the pole you leaned beside in the alleyway you hide out in for the moment. Everything seemed fine and nothing whizzed past you. You looked back down at your phone.

"It's fine I'll see it, Agnes." You muttered back just when the tank swerved past you along with Wild Tiger and Barnaby.

"Um.." You shoved your phone into the bodysuits pocket.

Your eyes taking over a light blue as you flicked your free hand up you extended the chunk of concrete you stood on. Pointing your hand forward creating a walkway that you chose to keep extending instead of wasting time on running to the action.

Your appearance brought in the Hero T.V. announcer:

"And here comes Nefarious Rubble on the scene! They may look sweet as a puppy but they'll crush whatever is in their way."
