(Y/N) walked along the halls of the estate, the floors, walls and ceiling were all made of wood, yet his steps couldn't be heard at all.

He didn't have his sword with him, which was strange, but he didn't seem to actually care about that at the moment.

He made it to a sliding door, which he opened and was met with the beautiful scenery outside.

From the green grass, pink trees and the sounds of birds chirping, there really were no words to describe the morning which he had woken up to.

The trees in particular caught his eye.

Wisteria trees.

He stood there for a second before moving along.

Looking to the left, he noticed three- no, four people.

Three were training, and one was watching over them.

His face varied with different emotions as he watched them interact with one another, his eyes moving from one person to the other smoothly as if he had done this a million times.

Then, he stepped out.

"Hey! That's my stick! Get your own!" The man wearing a boar's head shouted as he took a wooden stick away from a slightly shorter, yellow haired male.

"You idiot! You don't just steal other people's things! Plus, that's just a stick! You can get it anywhere!" The yellow haired boy yelled back at him.

"This is MY stick!" The shirtless guy said once more.

"This dumbass..."

Watching the two was a boy who had a prominent scar on the top left side of his forehead.

"You guys..." He tried to calm them down, but their voices were far louder than his own, making him sigh in defeat.

"Don't beat yourself up over it, Tanjiro." He heard a majestic voice say as he turned to look who it was.

"Miss Shinobu? How long have you been here?" He quickly made his way over to her.

She was sitting at the wooden walkway of the estate, her knees tucked into her chest with her hands on top of them, a small smile present on her face.

"Not that long. How's your training going?"

He stopped in front of her, caught off guard by her voice again.

He quickly shook his head before responding, "My training has been anything but easy, but I'm seeing good progress. It's taking some time, too, which is a bit concerning."

"I see. Well, don't worry too much about it. I can see your commitment, as well as your friends'. That dedication won't go unrewarded." She told him, still holding a smile on her face.

His face beamed in a smile at her words even though he felt sore all over.

As he went to say something again, he saw someone get down on their knees behind Shinobu, catching her off-guard.

"Oh, good morning, Mr (Y/N)!" He said with more respect than enthusiasm.

"Morning, Tanjiro. Heard your training's going well." (Y/N) said, as he lowered his head down and laid his chin on Shinobu's shoulder.

"Yeah! The regime you made for us is tough, but I know it'll pay off in the end!" He said, before realising he spent to much time talking and went back to train.

"What noisy kids they are." (Y/N) said as he looked to the side to see Shinobu's face.

"You're right. I sometimes wonder how you manage. We met them at the same time yet, somehow, you have no problem handling them." She commented as she looked back at him.
