Everyone says that they have a yellow. I never thought I would have one, that is until she came into my life. And before I knew it I was falling. Falling fast and hard.
(For the purpose of this story Oliver is in the same year as the twins)
Hermion...
I woke up to my alarm going off. I groaned and shut it off before it could wake my mum up. I sigh before pulling the bed sheets off my body and sitting up. I stretch and then tiptoe downstairs and into the kitchen. I make myself a cup of coffee and head upstairs and take a shower. While I was in the shower I let my thoughts take over. After about 15 minutes of being in the shower I get out and wrap a towel on my body. I go into my room, closing the door behind me and pick out my outfit.

I picked out some baggy blue jeans, white trainers, plain white t-shirt and one of Ron's shirts he gave me at the start of the summer. I apply light make up and straighten my hair and tie it in a half up half down hairstyle. I never liked wearing tight clothes because I've always hated my appearance because of people at school's comments. I look in the mirror one last time before checking the time. 10:21am. I wrote a note letting my mom know where I was going before leaving and locking the door. I decided to walk to the train station as it was only 10 minutes away.
When I arrived at the Café that Wood had told me to meet him and the others at, I received a text from my mom saying that she would be out with her friends for the day. I reply to the text before looking up and meeting a pair of bottle green eyes looking at me. I approach the quidditch team captain.
"Hello, Wood."
"Hello, lass."
We stand in silence before he speaks again.
"So how has your summer been so far?"
"It's been good just busy how about you?"
"It was alright, I spent most of it at the burrow with the twins and Lee. I was actually surprised you weren't there."
"Oh I just had a lot of things going on at home is all and now it's all sorted so..."
He looks at me with curiosity and opens his mouth to speak but then closes it again. We hear the café door open and turn around to see Ron, Harry, Ginny, Lee, Angelina, Katie and the twins.
"Oh my gosh Hermione!" Ginny runs up to me and before I can process what was happening I was in a bone crushing hug.
"How are you? We were so worried when we didn't hear back from you all summer."
"I'm good I've just been busy. How are you?"
"I'm good."
We all head over to one of the booths and sit down. I was sat between Ron and Harry. Ginny was opposite me with Fred and George on either side of her. Oliver was next to Fred and Lee was next to George. Ron puts his arm around my shoulders.
Everyone was in their own conversations while I was still processing my parent's divorce. The café door opens and I look over to see Lavender. She approaches us.
"Hey Won-won." she is stood there twirling her hair with her finger waiting for Ron's response. I roll my eyes and play with my hands.
"Hi Lav, What are you doing here?" when he called her 'Lav' I felt upset but decided to ignore it. I snap my attention back to the conversation.
"I'm just stopping buy to try a muggle coffee. How about you?"
"I'm here hanging with everyone before school starts."
"Order for Lavender Brown?" Lavender looks at the till before turning back to us.
"Well that's me, bye you guys, bye Ron." she smiles at him before getting her order and leaving.
There is an awkward silence between the group before Ron speaks up.
"I'm going to check to see if our orders are done." with that he left.
"Is there something going on between him and Lavender?" Ginny looks at me.
I sigh. "He says that they're just friends and that Lavender is apparently just really friendly and I trust that."
Ron came back with the drinks and everyone started up their own conversations. Me, Harry and Ron were talking about how we missed our first years of Hogwarts. I could feel someone looking at me and turn my face to meet Oliver's gaze. We maintain eye contact before I look away and continue my conversation with Harry and Ron.
It was 1:45pm. The boys were talking about quidditch when I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket. It's a text message from my dad. It says that my mom has been in a car crash and is in the hospital.
"Guys I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to go. Something important came up."
"B-but we haven't seen or heard from you all summer and now that we get the chance something just happens to come up." Ginny spoke with hurt and anger in her voice.
"I'm sorry." I really did feel bad but my mom was in the hospital. The others looked at me and turned away like they hate me. Do they hate me? I feel hurt that everyone was on Ginny's side.
"Fine if you all want to hate me go right ahead it's not like I've got anything else to lose." with that I left and got a taxi to the hospital. When I get there I run into the hospital and ask the receptionist where my mom is.
"She's in room through there and to your right." she pointed the direction before continuing with her paperwork.
I walk down and I can feel my anxiety increase. I turn right and see my mom with tubes attached to her. I sit at her bedside and hold her hand.
"Mom please be ok. I need you. Please you can't leave me here." I cry.
What would I do if she died?
I was crying for hours and before I knew it sleep overtook me .
