"You really got Raph to talk about it last night?"

"Well, not me, but Dr. Feelings did!"

"But you are Doctor Feelings..."

"Look out!"

Michelangelo turned his attention back to the TV just in time to dodge the obstacle right in front of his go-kart, and he nodded his thanks to his younger counterpart before speeding ahead. "Thanks!"

"No problem!" The two had started a friendly game of Mario Kart the next day, since Leo had told them all to be up and out of bed by no later than 3 pm (which was pretty early for them, considering they usually slept all day to be awake in the night time), and they needed something to do while he gathered the rest of the team to prepare for... something. Leo hadn't given much information, really.

But that was okay for the Mikeys. Now they had some time to get some gaming in! After two races (winning one each), Little Mikey had taken a break so his older counterpart could try and beat his old record on one of the timed races. It was going well, so far, he just had to hurry...

"Go, go, go!" Little Mikey cheered at him from behind, a wide encouraging smile plastered on his face. Mikey bit the inside of his cheek, eyes going white instinctively from how hard he was focusing on the race ahead of him. He was almost there, on his third and final lap. Just another few seconds and...

"Yes!!" This world's Michelangelo jumped to his feet, crossing the finish line a full second quicker than his past self. Little Mikey jumped up beside him, celebrating too. Mikey held up his hand, "High three!"

Little Mikey laughed, giving him one before he snatched the controller back. "My turn!" He announced, grinning mischievously as he gestured to himself and lifted his chin proudly. "I don't mean to brag, but I'm the champion of Mario Kart back home. Five-time winner of our annual race, baby!"

"Well I DO mean to brag, and I'm the champion of Mario Kart here!" The older Mikey retorted, rolling his eyes before the two glared determinedly at each other. He broke down into a short fit of laughter right after, however, and Little Mikey soon followed.

He ended up sitting right beside his younger counterpart, grabbing the bowl of popcorn the two were sharing, and watched as Little Mikey began his race, cheering on and on.

"Take that!"

"Go, go, go!"

"I'm almost-"

"What are you guys doing?"

Both Mikeys spun around at the same time, jumping from the surprise to see Leonardo had snuck up on them, arms crossed with a disapproving look on his face. The older Mikey gestured towards the TV.

"We're playing Mario Kart, duh."

"We were playing it!" Little Mikey exclaimed, his emphasis on 'were'. He mournfully stared at the screen, watching as his past high score kart raced past him, marking the end of that expedition. "You scared me! You made me drop my controller and there's no way I can catch up now." His counterpart put a hand on his shoulder as both of them mourned the record that could have been. They were so close, too!

"I told you guys we were going to be planning tonight's mission an hour ago," Leo said, eyes dark, "And this is what you're doing? We don't have time to waste like this!"

"We're not wasting time though," Little Mikey argued, "We were just waiting for everyone else."

Leo turned to his little brother. "Is your gear ready?"
