1. "Spain, I don't think you're ready for us!"

Our main story starts during the 2019 Formula One season. However, there are several flashbacks. Enjoy the ride!

7th - 13th May, 2018 - Barcelona, Spain - Spanish Grand Prix

-Yes, yes, I just landed, don't worry, dad, I'll find my way! - Skylar was speaking on the phone. - I'm sure, look, I can already see someone holding a sign with my name on it. Bye, love you.

She turned off the phone and took a look around. In reality there was no sign and there would never be. She had told her parents she was going to Barcelona for an audition - she wanted to be an actress - but that wasn't the truth. 

She wanted to get away from London for a few days, and Barcelona seemed like the perfect opportunity for her to get some well-deserved rest with her best friend.

-Oh, God, I can't believe we're actually here! Did they believe you? - Skylar nodded and smiled wide, as the two friends got out of the airport.

They had just graduated college and were looking forward to that trip ever since they were freshmen. 

The plan was simple: eat, party, sleep, repeat. It wouldn't hurt if they got a little drunk and got with hot spanish guys, at least that's what was on Eleanor's mind as they checked in to the hotel.

Eleanor was the spice Skylar always needed in her life - and always had. They were best friends ever since the 2nd grade, when El - as everyone called her - took it upon herself to punch a little boy who had been bullying Skylar. She was always extroverted and confident, and as they grew, those qualities ended up rubbing off on Skylar, which is something she was extremely proud of.

- Do you know what the Grand Prix is? - Eleanor asked. -  Bryce asked if we're going. Is it like a play or something? It sounds french.

Skylar couldn't take it anymore and she burst out laughing.

-Oh, my God, "it sounds french" - she laughed histerically, which made her friend sigh at her. - I'm sorry, I'm sorry, it's a Formula 1 race, I don't know much about it either, but at least I know it's not a play El. 

-Well... Is it fun? 

-Probably, but it might be as fun as it is expensive, why? - Skylar asked.

-Apparently there's a Grand Prix in Barcelona next weekend. I mean, it could be fun.

Skylar didn't look convinced.

-Eh, we'll see. It depends on how the week goes. But there are some good looking drivers, let me tell you that much... 

-Sky! That would be fun just by itself. - they both laughed. - I mean, show me their instagram profiles and I'll make a decision right here, right now.

...

-Oh well, I think we spent way too much time in this hotel room, where do you wanna do for dinner? - El jumped off of bed.

-Eh, I don't know, I know we're in Spain, but right now I'm really craving Indian food. - she looked at her friend with hopeful eyes.

-Hm, ok, tomorrow I'll choose. - she was going towards the bathroom but stopped herself. - wait. - Skylar looked towards her.

-What?

-We're going out after, so put on a nice outfit.

They got dressed up and went out.
