I never thought a single day and a spontaneous decision would change my life. It had been more than a year and I couldn't take Lewis Hamilton out of my head. Now he would be racing in Silverstone, and I couldn't stop myself from going to see him.
We'd just arrived and Lewis dropped me off at home. I decided to call Eleanor, I hadn't been with her for what felt like ages.

Eleanor: Hi! So you're back already, I see... Did you miss your bff? - She laughed.
Skylar: I always do. Do you want to do something? Maybe go out for lunch or something...
Eleanor: YES! Well, actually, I was going to call you. - She laughed. - I'm having lunch at my parents' today, my mom asked if you were in the UK, she wants to know all the details on Lewis, when I told her you were dating him she freaked out. So... Do you want a ride? I can go by your place in a bit.
Skylar: What? Your mom knows Lewis? - I laughed. - Sure, I'll wait for you. Love you.
Eleanor: No, she loves him. Love you, I'll be quick.

I got dressed and soon El said she was there to pick me up.
I was texting Lewis telling him I was going for lunch with El as I got out of the apartment. Out of nowhere I heard a few camera shutters. I didn't click "send" as whoever it was had caught me off guard. I turned towards the sound and saw a guy with a camera taking pictures of me. I quickly got in the car. The windows were dark so no one could see inside.
Eleanor: What the f...?
Skylar: Yeah, I guess someone found where I live...
Eleanor: Shit...
Skylar: Let's just go...
We managed to get away from him, he apparently had just walked there.
The drive to her parents' house wasn't very long, as soon as I got there I got a call from Lewis.

Skylar: Hey!
Lewis: Hi! Where are you? - that caught me off guard.
Skylar: What? What do you mean? I'm...
Lewis: Skylar...
Skylar: I'm at El's parents' house, I'm having lunch with them, why? - I heard a sigh of relief on the other side. - Is everything ok?
Lewis: I'm sorry, I was tagged in a million tweets, I'm not suspicious, I just want you to be safe wherever you are. Look, I'll send you the link. Don't go home alone, please. I love you.
