13~ Dance with the Devil

I took Nats arm and walked down the stairs. My heels clacking quietly on the floor. I looked up to see Bucky in a smart black suit with a white shirt and silver rings he looked so pretty :) he looked up at me with a soft smile his eyes widened slightly. "Hello Bucky" I smiled "Y/n... you look stunning doll" the words coming out of his mouth made my stomach do a flip "Watch it Bucky you don't want to drool on your suit" he let out a small laugh. "That's Enough flirting for one night now focus." Tony said with a cold expression. We both nodded and walked out the door of the compound. We both slipped into the shiny black limo and the driver hit the gas. I decided tonight I was going to try to get along with Bucky and be on my best behaviour. We popped open a bottle of bubbly- no one said we couldn't have fun tonight. "You excited Y/n?" She said starting up a Conversation as best as he could which was kind of cute. "Slightly- I'm a bit nervous though I don't usually go to big parties." I tried my best to force a small smile but he noticed. "I'll stay with you the whole night and as soon as the missions over we leave- sound Good?" I nodded my head he was being so sweet. "I need you on your best behaviour Bucky, just for one night no funny business" he sarcastically pulled a offended face "I'm always on my best behaviour doll" he smirked "mhmm also we have to talk about this new nickname" " you don't like it doll?" I rolled my eyes trying my best to hide my smile but I didn't do it very well and he smirked slightly.

We arrived at the party the mansion was absolutely gorgeous with delicate decorated pillars and intricate designs in the walls. We both walked up to the huge double doors- I was a nervous wreck and Bucky noticed straight away, before I walked in Bucky took my arm and wrapped it around his "I've got you" I smiled at his small gesture and then walked through the the doors. I gasped at the sight there were two sets of stairs rounding up to the second floor. The floor was tiled with back and white and the ceiling had little paintings of angels and other beautiful things we walked through into another room where the party was being held. The floor was coated in red carpet and the stairs down to the main room made it feel like a queen should live there, the railing were wooden carved with beautiful designs- pure art- it was breathtaking.

All the women in the room wore beautiful gowns and the men wore devishly handsome suits. We blended right in- perfect. We stepped down the steps feeling like royalty and I turned to Bucky as we stepped onto the floor "it's breathtaking isn't it?" I said in awe. He stared right at me with a glisten in his pale blue eyes "it is isn't it?" He agreed with a smile as he tightened a grip on my waist. Our mission was to act like any other couple in the party and when no one was looking sneak into Thomas's study and take back the research and erase it from his computer- easy enough right? We tried to mingle for a bit with everyone but they were all so boring we decided to sit down at one of the tables for a bit. "You want a drink" Bucky asked "yes please- surprise me" I smiled as he walked away. I sat there for a minute taking the room in I felt like even if I sat here for hours I could never get use to the precious room. I mean how could someone live here? A tap at my shoulder made me refocus on the mission I turned to see Bucky with a soft smile with two drinks in his hands. I softened at the sight he handed me one of the drinks and I took a sip. Bucky extended his hand to me my eyes furrowed into a confused look. He chuckled at my innocence "would you like to dance Y/n y/l/n?" My eyes widened at his request and my stomach filled with butterfly's I nodded my head slowly and I placed my hand in his, his hot touch warmed my cold fingertips and he lifted me of my seat keeping his gorgeous eyes on me whilst he directed me to the middle of the room and we turned to face each other.

The slow song was perfect for this moment and he slipped one hand to my waist and the other intertwined with my fingers we swayed slowly to the music and I rested my chin on his chest he smiled grinning down at me. His hand on my back made my heart tingle I wanted to stay like this with him forever. He lifted my chin up with on hand we looked into each others eyes soaking up the precious moment and I knew that second I had feelings for him and I couldn't keep denying it. His defined face inched closer to mine I stood on my tiptoes to face him and finally after so much waiting our lips crashed together we kissed passionately he held me even tighter and I gripped onto his shoulders we slowly pulled away from each other my eyes lit up in that moment he smiled at me and I had no idea what to say "Bucky I- that was- can we do it again sometime?" We both chuckled "I would love to" he smiled  "but for the meantime we have to finish the mission" I said with a serious tone "don't worry doll I've taken care of it" I looked at him confused what was he talking about? he saw my confused look and Slowly pulled out a small stack of files from his suit jacket. "Bucky! You did it with out me" a small frown came across my face "sorry doll but I thought it would be easier this way." Before I had anything to say to him suddenly a loud gunshot rang through the air and the world went black.
