Chapter 2 "Trust"

Next Day Morning

Hotel Room 

She slowly started opening her eyes, taking off the blanket. She looked around the room and saw Noe who was sleeping on the couch, cuddling with a cat. She got up and came to the couch, looking at sleeping Noe. In the sleep, Noe was looking peaceful, almost like a small kid who was enjoying the sleep. Suddenly, a cat in his hands opened his eyes and jumped on her. She falls on the carpet, feeling how the cat was licking her nose and sniffing her neck. Noe opened his eyes and saw her laying on the floor with a cat on her chest. He jumped near to them and wanted to take a cat away, but after he noticed that the cat actually likes her, he opened his mouth in shock and looked at her annoyed face trying to keep his laugh.

- Murr actually likes you, - said Noe through his giggling, - That is unexpected.

- I like him too, but please take him away from my face for now, - she stroked the cat's fluffy fur and then looked at Noe in hope of him taking a cat. Noe nodded and took a cat in his hands. She sat down.

- Thank you for letting me sleep in your bed, Noe, - she said getting up from the carpet and cleaning her mantle from the cat's fur. 

- Sure, are you coming with us? - asked Noe, putting a cat on the couch and looking at her, waiting for the answer. She exhaled, straighten her hair, and looked at him.

- I need to protect this book. Not like I have a choice now, - she shook her head, adjusting her gloves and playing with her fingers. The door slammed to the wall and they both looked in the direction of the door, seeing smiling Vanitas, standing in the doorway. 

- Why are so slow? We have to go to lord now, - Vanitas looked at Noe and then looked at her, staring at the side of her hood with a silver moon chain on it, - Where did you get this mantle from? 

- Like you don't know, - she bypassed Vanitas, leaving Noe in the room and waiting for them in the hall, - Are we going?

Vanitas nodded, looking at Noe. Noe put his coat on and followed Vanitas looking at her mantle with a moon from time to time. They came to some door. Vanitas slammed the door, catching vampires' angry look. Noe followed him inside of the cabinet, looking at the lord. 

- I healed the vampire, but you haven't seen that, so, - said Vanitas, looking at the vampire with a mustache and two vampires behind him. The vampire touched his mustache and exhaled. 

- I already heard it from them, - he smirked into those two vampires behind him and looked back to Vanitas, - Even I do not want to believe in any of his words.

The girl in the black mantle came inside and stopped near the door. The vampire noticed her and gave her a cold glance.

- Who is this? - asked the vampire at the desk. Two Vampires from behind wanted to jump on her, but as soon as they jumped on her with knives, she appeared near to the vampire's table, rolling her eyes. All of them opened their eyes in shock, looking at her. She looked at Lord with a smile.

- This is a Vampire of The Blue Moon, like a real one, but a little bit different, - after Vanitas said that, Lord's eyes opened wider, he stood up and looked at Vanitas with a fit of anger.

- Do you understand how dangerous is she? I could accept you human with a book, but she would never be accepted by vampires, - screamed Lord, but stopped looking at the opened door. The woman came inside smiling at Noe. Noe looked at her with a smile.

- Miss Amelia, - said Noe with a big smile on his face. The woman smiled back but freeze looking at the girl in the mantle.

- Oh, Noe, did I interrupt something? - asked Amelia with a worried face. Noe shook his head.
