SALVATION [Vanitas x Noe x Reader]

Chapter 15 "You shouldn't love me"

Noe looked at Vanitas' terrified eyes. He squeezed his fist, feeling how anger mixed with fear inside of him. Exactly everything that Noe was scared of was happening in front of his face.

- Vanitas, tell me what happened that day, I don't need to drink your blood if you don't want me to, - Noe tried to solve the situation by speaking to him, asking him for a simple request with a complicated answer, - Vanitas, please.

- That's enough, Noe, - screamed Vanitas, not putting his gun down. Vanitas aimed at Noe, seeing how Noe's eyes became wider, - We aligned because of a mutual purpose and your interest, but now we are complete strangers. I will save her myself and if you will stay on my way, I'll kill you. I already told you that If you will try to kill my blood, I will do it.

- We both want to save her, why can't you co-operate with me, Vanitas? - a pain was inside of Noe's voice. Vanitas' words hurt him, even Vanitas himself didn't mean it. Vanitas was manipulated by his emotions, feeling how anger took over him. Noe made a step to him, - I love her, Vanitas, and I don't want to lose anyone anymore.

- You what? - slowly said Vanitas, repeating Noe's words in his head, - It is pointless. You know nothing, Noe. 

Noe looked down. There was no other way, he saw that Vanitas stubbornly was not listening to him, ignoring him. Noe jumped on Vanitas, opening his mouth, trying to jump on his neck and bite him. A shoot. At the same time, she tried to take a step, but couldn't. Mikhail looked back at her.

- Oh, you are trying to resist, you should not, you see this will only hurt you, [y/n], - said Misha with an envy smile on his face. She could hear everything that was happening to Noe, see, but she could not do anything. She was stuck inside of her head. Inside of her head, she was sitting in a dark room with a glass window at the ceiling. She was sitting on the floor, looking down, hearing a shot next to her in the reality where she could not do anything, but watch two of the people she loves were fighting. She felt how someone's hand touched her shoulder, hearing how a man sat next to her, exhaling.

- You can save them, - a familiar voice was heard next to her. She raised her head with a face full of tears going down her cheeks.

- William? - she touched his cheek, seeing his unemotional stare at the glass ceiling.

- Keep fighting, [y/n], none of vampires or humans can be compared to you, - he smiled, looking at her, - Even I am stuck inside of your head, don't make them just a memory like I am now. 

- I can't, - sobbing, she stroked his cheek, - I just can't do anything. Anytime I try to resist, my own power doesn't let me. I'm just a weapon now.

- Don't underestimate yourself, - he touched her hand on his face, - be that girl I knew, and don't let anyone break you, my dear [y/n].

Misha became bewildered, seeing how tears started going down her eyes. She was fighting his power that he locked her inside. Mikhail looked back at Noe, seeing him, holding his hand on his eye. Noe made a step back, looking at his white glove that was covered with his blood. He couldn't believe that Vanitas did this. Heavy rain started, covering the sky in the dark grey sky. Vanitas took an injection out of the pocket, looking at Noe.

- Kill that vampire, - said Vanitas, injecting himself in the neck and throwing the injection on the ground as soon as he finished. Vanitas jumped on Noe, taking his knife out and trying to cut him. Noe jumped away, trying to attack him from the side, but Vanitas was fast, dodging the attack and cutting Noe's waist. Noe stepped back, feeling how blood was coming from the cut on his waist. 

- Yes, go for it, Noe, go get my memories back, - happily screamed Mikhail, clapping his hands. Misha looked back, touching [y/n]'s hand, leading her to the wheel, - Go up and wait for my commands at the top of the wheel.
