Chapter 6 "Precious Memory"

She was lying on the floor, holding Noe's head on her shoulder, who was on top of her. Her tears were going down her cheeks. She could not stop crying, feeling how her body was getting from the emotional pressure that she put on herself since this morning. This dream always affects her in that way, that makes her put her mask of numbness to hide it, but at the end of the day - that pressure gets her to the bottom of her head. Noe took her hand and looked at her face. Noe could see the pure pain and suffering that he knows that he could not put her in by what happened on the roof. He stroked her hand and helped to get up from the floor, making her sit on the bed. Noe stood on his one knee in front of her, straightening her dress. She was looking at him, how carefully was he putting parts of her dress to look proper. 

- I know I might hurt you by what have I done on the roof and I deeply apologize for it, - started Noe, looking down at her dress, - But I feel that I am not the reason for your suffering now. Maybe I am asking a lot from and everything goes too fast, but I want to know what happened to you. As a part of your life and I person who truly wants to be by your side, I want to help as much as I can.

She looked at him, she could see the worried look on his face that makes her realize how much does he truly cares about you. He could leave her at the door, but something stopped him that he could not leave the situation that way.

- I always was beyond humans after Lord took me in, since Ruthven did not want me to be in the world of vampires, trying to protect me from them, - her voice was quiet but diligent, - Lord could not spend that much time with me and sometimes I was left by myself in the house, but one day he brings a boy who was a vampire. However, we started getting to know each other and realize how identical we were being rejected by the world of vampires. We became close friends, that almost I felt that I had family, a brother who accepted me with all of my demons inside.

Suddenly she stopped, squeezing her dress, looking down at Noe's head. He looked at her seeing how hard it was talking about for her. Noe took placed his hand on her fist, trying to comfort her and soften her pain of going through this again.

- Charlatan took over his mind and made him kill all of those servants in the house, while Lord was not here. He made me watch how he was doing it because I was not powerful enough to fight against him and his power at this time. Just because he couldn't take my name, he made him torture me, but in the end, he took his mind back for one second and killed himself on my eyes, crying because even Charlatan took over his body he saw what he was doing, - her voice was cracking, almost like she was losing her breathe, - That day I opened this power of mine and tried to kill Charlatan, but he escaped, leaving me alone in the house filled with bodies of those dead servants and his. 

Noe could not say a word, he was looking at her empty face finally understanding why was she suffering and torture herself, trying to feel physical pain to suppress emotional pain. At the same time, the flashbacks from Louis' death went in front of his eyes. Noe stood up and hugged her tightly. The vampire of the blue moon freeze, feeling his hands wrapping around her waist. Noe looked at her face.

- I am sorry for your loss, but I promise that we will find him and he will pay for it, - his voice was filled with anger, - I lost my friend from his curse too and I understand that pain you are feeling now and as long as I am here, I promise that I will be here for you.

- You lost your friend? - she looked at him with wide-opened eyes, feeling how they both were broken from their past and appeared in this situation for the same reason as justice for their dead close people. Noe nodded and sat down near to her.
