Chapter 2 (Going to camp)

CHAPTER 2

Y/N's POV

So...yeah...this happened.

Now I'm being taken by Chaos to this camp. They reassured me that I shouldn't be scared, although somehow the idea of meeting normal humans again scared me more than death by Zeus.

Even after everything that happened, I still do think of Chaos as a sort of best friend/cool parent even though they are the most powerful thing in the universe. I am grateful for all they have done for me and for saving me from my fate.

I am shaken from my thoughts when Chaos tells me that we have arrived. We could have got here instantly but Chaos seemed to understand that I needed time to myself to think beforehand. It was night-time and for the first time in years, I was tired. It must be the effect of being back on Earth.

Chaos explained, "I think you need to do this. It has been so long since you spoke to someone who was actually human, and I know that you will find good people here. I have told you about some of these heroes, but I imagine you'll get to know them soon anyway."

Chaos seemed to falter, and their smile dropped slightly.

"I know how you must feel and just know that if you ever need me, just say my name or think that you want me with you, and I'll be right there."

With tears in my eyes, I hugged Chaos who then pushed me towards this large building.

Chaos left and now I'm just waiting for something to happen.

I hear some hooves on stone and look round expecting a horse when I am met with a centaur. Knowing who this was, I bowed my head slightly until he spoke.

"Hello Y/N. We have been expecting you. I appreciate the gesture and I see that you have been taught well but I don't think we require such formalities."

Chiron padded the ground with one of his hooves.

"I have been informed of your situation and I have also been told you will not require a cabin to be built."

I look at him quizzically until I hear a familiar voice in my head. Chiron seems to hear it too as he looks perplexed for a moment.

"Oh yeah. Forgot to tell you a kind of important thing. You know that I can pretty much do anything? Well, I am giving you the power to create things. Obviously, there are limits as I don't think you should be able to do everything yet. But yeah.... build your own cabin I guess. Bye again!"

Both Chiron and I are taken aback and this time, he bows his head, making me feel embarrassed. I feel uncomfortable but then he tells me to make myself at home as I will get an introduction tomorrow morning.

I go to where all the cabins are and just stand there for a second. I imagine a cabin to be there and then I see beams starting to form. It is truly amazing to witness as everything forms and is then put in the right place.

The cabin is a mixture of black and white wood from the outside, giving it almost a yin and yang feel. I always imagine Chaos to be this way; as one who creates, yet also destroys, yet is one being.

All I can say to this is,

"Cool."

I then imagine the inside to be sleek and modern with an emphasis on a F/C theme. [I like purple. What are your favourite colours?]

I open the door and without checking out too much, I rush over to where I know the bed is and fall onto it, my tiredness overcoming my curiosity. I switch off the lights from the switch by my bed and fall asleep.

So...what do you guys think so far? Next chapter will have Nico and Will's POV as they get accustomed to a new cabin popping up out of nowhere and stuff. I'm going to continue writing anyway so yeah, see you next time. If you do actually like this, could you comment as it just makes my day.
