Chapter 3 (Meeting Everyone)

CHAPTER 3

Nico's POV

"What the fuck?!"

I heard Percy shout near the cabins at camp and make my way to him, readying myself for a battle.

There was a large congregation of campers near the cabins and as I made my way through the crowd, I saw what had caused all the commotion. There was a new cabin, out of nowhere, right next to mine. It looked similar too, however while mine did cause fear to anyone who got close, this was something else entirely.

I couldn't help but wonder what deity this cabin was built for.

I caught up to Percy and saw that he was worried. Annabeth was by his side while the rest of the 7 at camp and Will just stared at the cabin, waiting for what was inside to come out.

The others looked like they had just got out of bed. Out of the corner of my eye I saw that Will was wearing Star Wars pyjamas. He looked so cute with his bedhead. And the morning sun caught his hair in such a beaut-

Stop it. Now is not the time to pine. [Hey, that rhymes.]

Everyone just stood outside till Percy spoke.

"I...I think we should...we should knock."

Hearing Percy hesitate was both scary and laughable at the same time. The guy had bested titans, yet he was scared of something he had never even seen.

My breath hitched in my throat when the door opened, and the resident of the cabin stepped outside.

What the Hades?! Oh no. OH NO... He's cute.

The guy, probably around my age, was wiping his eyes while dressed in F/C pyjamas. Clearly, he had just woken up. Once he opened his eyes, he stopped, saw everyone, looked down, then up, and walked back into his cabin.

I then heard a scream come from inside the cabin.

A few moments later, the door opened slightly, and I saw two E/C eyes look through, and seeing everyone still there, the door was closed again.

At this point, Chiron came and asked us all to disperse and leave the new camper alone.

We all agreed and went our separate ways, however I walked to Chiron and asked him who this new camper was and what deity was their parent.

"Sorry Nico, I am not at liberty to tell you everything. I would if I was allowed but I'm sure you'll find out soon anyway.

Chiron then galloped off, upon hearing some other campers scream. Leo had probably set something on fire again.

Y/N's POV

I checked if the coast was clear again and walked out my cabin, having now dressed into some jeans and a t-shirt with a jacket on top. Chaos appeared in front of me with a large smile on their face than usual.

I ignored them for a while, but I got annoyed by the silence, so I asked Chaos.

"What is so funny?"

"I saw that whole scene today. That was so funny. The way you just looked around for a second, and then got so embarrassed."

I got annoyed at Chaos who then laughed more.

"Oh, your pout is so cute."

I didn't realise I was pouting and just turned away.

"Okay, fine. In all seriousness, I understand you're not the best at meeting new people so that must have been a surprise."

Chaos stopped talking for a second and I asked them.

"There's a 'but' coming, isn't there?"

Chaos started speaking again, and my question was answered.

"...But the point of all this is to get you to know people who are more-or-less human and around your age." Chaos wiggled their eyebrows, "Maybe you'll find someone."

I blushed and tried to push Chaos away, but my hand went right through.

"So, are you willing to try?"

I thought about this, and I did want to see if there were nice people. Surely not everyone was as bad as..."

I shook my head, not wanting to think about it. My fingers rubbed my right arm absentmindedly.

Chaos noticed this habit of mine every time I thought about my past and spoke again.

"It is genuinely your choice. We can go back now, if you want. I've made my point."

"I'll...

I'll stay."

A/N

So, another chapter. Chapters will probably stay around this length as I like to have this structure. Let me know what you guys think. Next chapter should have some Will in it as well as some Nico. Also, while Y/N can't do everything Chaos can, he still gives off the same aura as Chaos, although he can change it, but you'll find out more about that later. As always, please leave a comment for this if you like it so far. I know not much has happened, but it will pick up soon.
