"So Dwight didn't know about the escape plan?" Luna huffed, her hands on her hips. "You couldn't have warned me?"

"I didn't know he was staying!" Sherry said, flicking the ash off of her cigarette. "I was waiting here for you when he showed up, I had to improvise. I told him I was doing it myself, so he took the risk for me."

"Well..." Luna sighed, lighting her cigarette. "That was stupid of him. And dangerous. It could've gotten you both killed and then that would've been on me. I can't have that."

"He was just trying to help-" Sherry started, but Luna held her hand out.

"I don't want anyone to help me if it could get them killed, okay?" Luna shook her head. "I'm not letting anyone die for me. Or even get hurt for me."

"What do you think I'm doing, then?" Sherry sighed. "Look, I want to help you, but you need to let me help you. Alright? You need to trust me."

"I'm trying." Luna threw her cigarette on the ground and stepped on it. "But someone I thought I could always trust murdered two people I considered family."

Luna paced back and forth in her apartment, a cigarette in her mouth. She was half paying attention the open window next to her. Negan and the others were due back from the Hilltop today, and Luna was curious as to what was happening over there. She knew the leaders wouldn't be happy to see Negan turn back up, for sure. She had just lit her third cigarette of the day when she saw the the trucks pull in. She sighed, wiping the fly-away hairs from her face as she walked over to the window. Almost immediately, Arat and Simon were inside the building. Negan got out after they were already gone, a few others starting to unload the trucks. Just as she leaned down to put out her cigarette, a series of gunshots rang out.

She shot back up, holding onto the window as she stared down at the trucks.

"Luna!" Her door was opened quickly, making her spin around. Standing in the doorway was Sherry, and she was waving her over. Luna half glanced outside before going over to Sherry, who pulled her out into the hallway and shut the door. "What were you doing?"

"Trying to see what was going on outside." Luna huffed. "Those were gunshots, maybe it's Rick."

"I doubt it." Sherry sighed, shaking her head. "They took all of Alexandria's guns last time they were there, Dwight told me." Luna couldn't help but frown. Rick would never attack if they were that ill-prepared. He wouldn't risk everyone's lives like that. "Look, I came to warn you."

"About what?" Luna's eyebrows furrowed together.

"What happened to Dwight, with his face..." Sherry trailed off, and Luna nodded. "It's gonna happen again. Today, probably."

"Why?" Luna breathed.

"Negan, why else?" Sherry sighed. "I don't think he'll make you watch it, you're lucky. But just...next time you see Amber, be extra nice to her."
