As the gates of Alexandria came into view, Luna felt her nerves bubbling up once again. Back on the highway, when Rick had told Jesus and Sasha to run back to the Hilltop, Jesus had taken the Saviors' walkie with him. While it was probably for the best, as who knows what would happen if they'd been caught with it, it meant they were completely cut off from their only line of Saviors communication. It was a very real, yet still unspoken, fear within the group that the Saviors had beaten them home. So, after hiding the car about a mile away in the woods, the group had started to run back to Alexandria.
When the gate was pulled open, and the only thing waiting on the other for them was Tobin, Luna breathed a short sigh of relief. Though, it didn't last long. Just as the group had stepped inside the gate, the loud sounds of trucks filled the air. Three motorcycles and three trucks drove through the gates, the group standing back and watching them as they pulled in and parked. Rick led them as they started over towards the group of Saviors that were now amassing behind the trucks.
"Rick!" Simon called out, standing in front of the Saviors. "Hello."
"We thought it'd be longer." Rick said as Simon approached them.
"Do you think we're here for a tribute?" Simon asked. "Do you?"
"Is there another reason?" Rick asked, shrugging lightly.
"There is." Simon nodded. "We're here for Daryl."
"Negan took Daryl." Rick was selling it as best he could, but Luna could see the disbelief plain on Simon's face.
"Oh, but then your son showed up...and Daryl went missing." Simon motioned towards Carl. "Might those two things be connected?"
"They're not." Rick stared Simon down. "We didn't know he was gone until right now."
"Then this should be easy." Simon smiled. "Now, everyone find a buddy. Gonna have to follow us around. If he's here, we really need you all to see him die." Simon then moved away from Rick, flicking Carl's hat as he passed. Luna felt Carl moving forward, so she harshly pulled on his hand. He looked back at her, and she gave him a look. She'd dealt with Simon plenty in her months at the Sanctuary, and though she didn't like most people she came in contact with, she knew Simon was the worst of the worst. She knew what Carl was like-hotheaded and ready to threaten anyone's life-and she knew that shit wouldn't fly with Simon the way it did with her dad.

"Wow." Simon breathed out as they came around the corner, taking in the empty shelves of the pantry. "These are some bare shelving units." The group all followed behind him as he moved inside. "You guys have a barbecue or something and not invite us? Seriously, this is sad. Hope you're not trying to hide stuff from us, 'cause that generally doesn't go over very well."
"We have a lot of people." Aaron spoke up, making Simon turn towards him. "It's...getting harder to find stuff, and our focus lately has been on finding things that Negan might want. We're still adjusting to the new system."
