They fire off a few rounds before they shut the gate behind us. "Come on," the man growls, running with Michonne in his arms. I run after them dizzily and hold my shoulder, wincing with every step. He leads us into a cell block and lays Michonne on a blanket on the ground and I stand beside her.

Someone grabs my sword from its holder on my back and yanks the gun from my waist. "No!" I protest, sloppily reaching for my weapon. Immediately a man with a crossbow gets in my face and points it directly at my head.

"Keep that up and you'll have a much bigger problem," he spits. The other man from before puts his hand on top of the crossbow and slowly lowers it.

"We'll keep these safe," growls the man. An old man with one leg on crutches comes forward, "was she bit?"

"Shot, same as me," I huff through gritted teeth while I pull back the t-shirt covering my wound. Michonne comes back to consciousness and sits up quickly. I squat in front of her, "Hey! Hey! They helped us."

"Want to tell us why you came here?" The man asks, but before one of us can answer, we're interrupted by a young blonde woman.

"Hey guys, you need to come see this," she says lightly and smiles.

"The doors are all locked, you'll be safe here," the man I'm assuming that's in charge says.

"We didn't ask for your help," Michonne spits.

"Doesn't matter, we can't let you leave," he growls and takes our weapons with him. They all go into the blocks, leaving us in the room outside of it with tables and chairs, closing the barred door behind them. I shakily get up and walk to the door, peering through the bars into the cells. An older woman is hugging everyone and crying, covered in dirt. I go and sit down next to Michonne, leaning my spinning head back against the wall in an overwhelming and sudden sense of comfort.

"What're they doing?" I take a long, deep breath before answering.

"Smiling."

It didn't take long for them to come back out to us, skeptical and they have every right to be. The old man on crutches, the archer, and the man with the piercing blue eyes return and walk up to the spot we moved to, a few of the chairs connected to the metals tables.

"We can tend to those wounds for you, give you some food and water and then send you on your way. But you're going to have to tell us how you found us," he pauses and looks between the two of us, "and why you were carrying formula."

"Supplies were dropped by a young Asian guy, with the pretty girl," Michonne answers lowly.

"What happened?"

"Where they attacked?" asks the old man.

"They were taken," my mouth feels dryer than ever as the words come out.

"Taken? By who?" The man continues to growl and leans down closer to us.

"By the same son of a bitch who shot us," she answers instead.

"These are our people, you tell us what happened now!" He grabs Michonne' wound and she jumps from her chair, shoving her finger in his face and yells.

"Don't you ever touch me again!" The archer is there yet again, crossbow pointed right in her face. I would stand and help but I'm took weak to even get up.

"You better start talking," the archer grunts staring through the scope.

"Find them yourself." Michonne has never been one to cower to others. He puts his hand on top of the crossbow and the archer slowly lowers it again. "You came here for a reason," the man steps in front of the archer and looks between me and Michonne. So finally, we start talking and tell them all about Woodbury and the things we know.
