23 : ACCIDENT

"Don't go Sidharth",said Shehbaaz and rubbed Shehnaaz hairs. Sidharth noticed that Shehbnaaz head is bruised and he is wearing full sleve dress which is very rare. Most of the time he wear half sleeve shirts then why he is wearing it today.

Sidharth stopped at his place and looked aside ignoring eye contact with Shehnaaz

"Why you ignored me again bhai?", asked Shehnaaz with tears. Sidhath fist his hand to control himself because he can't see her crying especially in someone else arms. Even if he is her brother

"I didn't Sana. Instead I met with a accident day before my birthday. And my mobile phone was totally damaged . Moreover I was unconscious from many days which I didn't realised", replied Shehbaaz and broke hug with Shehnaaz. Shehnaaz helped Shehbaaz to sit and gave him water being worried

"How ? And why you came here then. You could have informed us", shouted Shehnaaz and checked his forehead arms as well as legs which were injured but Shehbaaz applied concealer to hide his bruises. Shehnaaz bend in front of him with tears and placed her head on his lap. She missed talking with her brother. She wanted to tell him how she is feeling but because of his ignorance she was unable to do so

"As I hate living there. Yesterday I thought to call you but they didn't gave me phone. Today I took discharge papers and came here", replied Shehbaaz normally. Sidharth facepalmed himself as he know it is not that much easy the way Shehbaaz is showing but then he realised that maybe Shehbaaz is trying to hide his pain from Shehnaaz

"I think we should talk in mansion because Shehbaaz is not well", said Sidharth in cold voice maintaining his stern posture. Shehnaaz got up from Shehbaaz lap and stand in front of Sidharth

"I know you will get angry but I want to.. I really need it", Shehnaaz said with tears. Sidharth was confused at first but when Shehnaaz hugged him he understood meaning of her words. He wrapped his hands around her back. He wanted to rub her back and kiss her to assure her that he is with her but he remembered her smirk when she insulted his feelings

"Chah ke bhi tujhe maaf ni kar pa raha Shehnaaz( I am unable to forgive you Shehnaaz. Even when I want to)", he thought with a sad chuckle and waited for her to calm down. She is just like a child so his accident is a shock for her which Sidharth know. He remembered the time when they used to talk in office and after coming home they used to talk through phone

After 5 minutes Shehnaaz broke hug and stepped one step back. She thought maybe she crossed her limit as they don't share any relation but Sidharth actions are confusing her. He really hate her or not? Or it is just an mask?

"Bhai hadd hai. Before rakshabandhan you injured yourself. I was unable to protect you", Shehnaaz looked down in guilt. Sidharth smiled when he noticed her pout which Shehbaaz did not noticed. He understood that she needed her brother to get back to her real self or was that his hug?

"Why are you giving that much importance to yourself? How can you forget that day when she said that she never loved you? She love her brother only that Is the reason she is getting her old self back. She came in your life to get Shehbaaz forgiveness back. She don't love you", mocked his mind which hurt Sidharth. He turned to go but Shehnaaz holded his hand from back. He didn't turn but from her soft touch he can sense that it is Shehnaaz not Shehbaaz

"Stay here. It is your office Sidharth. Just few minutes more then I will start working. Sit here. Do you need anything?", Asked Shehnaaz in low voice. Sidharth pulled his hand back and walked towards his chair without looking towards her. He just remembered his past days

"No... She don't love you Sidharth. This is your illusion. She just love her brother. But I can't turn selfish.. that is the reason I gave her brother back....I don't love her. She is not mine", Sidharth tried understanding himself that Shehnaaz was never his. He looked towards Shehnaaz who was Hugging Shehbaaz. He wished if he was in his place

"Regarding your complaint then Sana it's my duty to protect you not yours", replied Shehbaaz and helped Shehnaaz to sit back. Shehnaaz again asked him if he is fine to which he said yes. Shehnaaz turned towards Sidharth who again started working on his laptop like he is very busy

"I have someone to protect me bhaiya", replied Shehnaaz eyeing Sidharth. Sidharth looked towards her immediately when she said this line. He noticed her eye gesture which was towards him

Sidharth looked back to find someone behind him but saw none . "Did she said that for me? ", He thought and cleared his throat

"Why are you staring me? State your brother instead. If you want you can stay with him", Sidharth said in hoarse voice. He don't want her to leave like this but it is good to let her go before she hurt his feelings again. He can't bear another betrayal from same girl. In this way he want to test her too if she just used him for own benifit or loved him?

"He is not my husband nahh. You are the one whom I can stare with full right. Moreover Sidharth I can't leave you and yo...I mean our family. Shehbaaz bhai please stay in our house till you are ill", Shehnaaz said while looking towards Sidharth and Shehbaaz respectively. She picked files from table and sat on her chair

Sidharth smiled didn't showed his smile to anyone. He don't want to give hopes to Shehnaaz from this relation. He know once he will give a chance he will turn serious when she can never stay serious in their relationship

"Sidharth there is something on your hairs", Shehnaaz said and moved towards Sidharth but he shows his hand to her. He said he can do it himself he don't need any help . He felt very happy when she said that she can stare him with full right but he is scared what if she said just as a fun thing or it was just a slip of tongue?

He ruffled his hairs but there was a leaf near his ears. Shehbaaz was about to tell but stopped himself because he want Shehnaaz to do that herself. He know Sidharth still love her and he want then to clear their misunderstandings soon

"Near y.... your ears..", Shehnaaz stammered and stand to pick leaf with distance but was unable to. Sidharth stand up and went towards washroom with his hands in his pocket. Shehnaaz continued working because she don't want to disappoint Sidharth. After coming out Sidharth stand in front of Shehnaaz

"Hope you didn't leaked any information to him now. Even if you did I don't care because I have my secured presentations safe with me. I don't trust anyone now. Thanks to you", Sidharth said in cold voice again he maintained his cold posture in front of Shehnaaz. Shehbaaz stayed silent because he want Shehnaaz to speak up now. She didn't even talked with him because of his work then how can he doubt her? Just then his heart gave his answer

"Because he trusted her when she was going to break it. She can't mend his broken trust", his heart said

Shehnaaz stand up till Sidharth level and gave him his laptop

"You can check CCTV footage Sidharth. I didn't. I know I broke your trust but I will never commit same mistake twice I promise. I really didn't check this now . Or ask bhai .... I didn't", Shehnaaz replied as she panicked when she heard his accusion. Sidharth felt that she is honest now but she is with Shehbaaz now so she can do anything. Moreover Shehnaaz started behaving like she lost her mental balance so he opened CCTV footage and checked it

He then noticed her fresh tears again which is hurting him again and again. He placed laptop aside and started going towards his chair but his leg slipped. He was about to fall but Shehnaaz holded him

"Be careful Sidharth. Are you fine?", Asked Shehnaaz with concern and checked him from tip to toe.

"Yes I am . Now do your work. Shehbaaz bhai you can stay in my mansion. Mom and dad will be there. Tomorrow I am going on office trip", Sidharth replied coldly. Shehnaaz looked down when she remembered their last conversation in mansion

"Sidharth mom need you too. Please stay he.... You hate me na then why are you troubling your mother?", Asked Shehnaaz

"Stop thinking about her. I am her son who stayed with her from childhood unlike you who just came like a wind. I am going because I want to go", he said in harsh tone but after a minute regretted it

"I mean... It is very important you can check mail. I am going there for a deal", Sidharth said in calm voice.

Shehnaaz nodded but didn't checked mail because she trust him

"Can I come? I mean pa is also important na?", Asked Shehnaaz
