TW/CW: Accidental Misgendering(?).

Quackity stared at Sapnap. "I-I'm fine." He wiped his eyes, trying to compose himself as Sapnap walked in, turning on the light and shutting the door. "You don't look 'fine'." Sapnap murmured, walking closer to him slowly. He placed his hand on Quackitys shoulder lightly, causing him to jump. Sapnap furrowed his eyebrows.

"N-No Sap- S-Seriously I'm fine..." Quackity mumbled, his voice quiet. Though he said that, he looked as if he could break down at any point. Sapnap frowned, pulling him into a hug softly. Quackity stopped, his hands hesitantly wrapping around the other as he took in the warmth once more.

And he started crying. Despite wanting to be fine, he cried. He just hid his face, crying into Sapnaps chest as he tried to recompose himself. She cries so much, she needs to get a hold of herself. She feels so small and weak whenever she does, and she does it a lot. Maybe that's why she's shorter than her friends.

..She didn't know why she felt like a girl right now, it just happened out of nowhere... But it doesn't matter. She just wants to stop crying... Why can't she stop? "It's okay Alex... You're okay..." Sapnap murmured, sitting down on the bed with her carefully. Right... Sapnap... She always just melts and lets go whenever he's comforting her.. Maybe that's why she can't stop.

Quackity sniffled, refusing to look up at Sapnap despite his attempts to calm her down. His attempts were just making her cry more, why was it making her cry more? Nevermind... She doesn't want what happened in the nightmare to happen, or did it happen? Is she dreaming right now? She could be... No, just, i-ignore it, just stop crying.

She gulped, gathering up the courage to briefly push her boyfriend away.. "S-Sap..." She hiccupped, trying to push him away weakly. "Yes..?" "N-Not... Not helping..." she sniffled, hoping she didn't sound rude. "Oh... I'm sorry honey.." he murmured, scooting away slightly to let her compose herself. Quackity smiled at him, before continuing to try to calm herself down.

It took a few moments, but she did. She felt... Somewhat calmer now. "Alex... if you don't mind me asking.. What happened?" Sapnap asked softly, patiently waiting for an answer. Quackity looked at him, frowning as she thought back to the nightmare. That wasn't like any of the other ones. Great, was she adding onto her own torture? Just great.

"It's really nothing... I don't want to talk about it." She mumbled, looking away somewhat awkwardly. "Oh.. Alright, that's okay." Sapnap sighed, pulling her closer once more. Quackity could feel herself tear up at the warmth again, damn it, why was it making her cry? "...Are you gonna cry again..?" Sapnap asked, worried.

"N-No... I'm fine.." she mumbled, resting her cheek against his chest. "Alright Alex..." Quackity closed her eyes, listening as Sapnap began to hum. "What... What time is it?" she asked quietly. "Hm? What?" Quackity sighed. "W-What time is it?" Sapnap smiled. "Oh, it's like 3 am. Don't worry about it.." Quackity hesitated before nodding.

There were a few minutes of silence before it was interrupted by a knock at the door. Quackity opened her eyes, raising an eyebrow. "Who is it?" Sapnap called whilst rubbing Quackitys back. George opened the door carefully, a tired yet worried expression on his face. "Sapnap have you seen Quack-... oh.." George cut himself off at the sight of Quackity.

"Hi..." She murmured, waving quietly before once more closing her eyes and snuggling up to Sapnap. Sapnap raised an eyebrow. "He's right here, why?" "Oh I was just... A bit worried since, y'know, I couldn't find him.. And uh..." Quackity cringed at them calling her a him, but then again, she really hadn't told them she used other pronouns as well as that. She also cringed because of what he was implying.

"...Yeah, but he's fine. You can go now George." Sapnap said, holding Quackity a bit tighter unknowingly. "..Okay." George muttered, closing the door as he left. Quackity whimpered and hid her face in Sapnaps chest. "..What's wrong?" Sapnap asked quietly, going back to rubbing her back gently.

"...Nothing." She replied, muffled by his shirt. "Stop saying nothing's wrong.. Something's wrong, Alex.. I wanna help you..." Sapnap murmured, frowning. "It's nothing..." Quackity mumbled, not moving from the position she was in. Sapnap sighed, but nodded. "Alright.. Fine, if you say so."

They stayed like this for a bit longer. Quackity could hear crickets outside, and that mixed along with Sapnap humming was... Very calming to her. "You should go back to sleep, Q..." Sapnap murmured, his hand stilling. Quackity sighed, biting her cheek before nodding. Sapnap pulled away from her, allowing her to lay down on the bed. "You're gonna stay... right?" He asked.

Sapnap stared at him for a moment before sighing, a smile making its way to his face. "Yeah, I'm gonna stay. Don't worry.."
