We were all just standing there waiting for any sign of human contact at all some of us even started to call out to them to see if they would hear us..........but nothin, not even a cry

I heard the sound the doors made before they were going to shut for the night I looked over at Josie she looked panicked but she was trying to hide it I then said "come on guys, can't we send someone after them" then all of a sudden sienna said "it's against the rules, it's either they make it back or they don't"

I heard Josie take a deep breath I grabbed her hand and held it in mine and squeezed it shut "we can't risk loosing anyone else out there" she said

Then we all heard that horrible noise of the doors starting to shut and Josie let go of my hand and tried to wipe away a tear I looked at her then I looked back out then I saw a figure groaning and then I automatically knew it was Rachel and she was dragging something

"OVER THERE" I screamed out and pointed at the two girls 'something's wrong, there not going to make it" I heard Josie whisper into my ear

"Come on Rachel you can do it!" I heard Emily yell out then all of the other girls joined in and started yelling at Rachel to keep trying but then I heard sienna say "come on Rachel you've gotta leave her"

That was it I couldn't help myself I had to go in there. I pushed away from Josie and started sprinting I felt her hand try and grab mine and pull me back but she just missed me

It felt like everything was going in slow motion I could see Rachel drop Julie as she could no longer hold her anymore

I just slipped out of the small gap left and fell to the ground inside the maze I started to breath really heavily then I looked back and saw that the doors had shit for the night

"Great, you just killed yourself" I heard Rachel say "wait what" I said stuttering

"Haven't you heard, no one has ever survived a night in the maze"
